This jacket is great! Looks nice but most importantly has kept me dry and warm in very rainy and snowy weather.

I think this coat runs a little big but I bought my usual size because I wanted to be able to layer underneath. I tried sizing down and it was too tight across the shoulders. I am 5'4", 130 lbs, small bust and a Small works well for me. The sleeves are long on me, but that's typical for me and clothing. The velcro helps to cinch the wrist and adjust that a bit. Overall, I'm happy with the style and it fits the bill for what I'm looking for. I trust it will hold up over the long term, as my North Face items have.

I had my eye on this for a while now, finally decided to order it and I do not regret it!
It does run a little big, I ordered a small, I'm 4'11 and weigh 126 lbs

This jacket is the perfect all-seasons raincoat. The material is softer and less noisy/plasticy than a traditional raincoat (like the Venture 2) but has more insulation and is lined so it has more of a "premium" raincoat vibe going on. Great for wearing to work, out to dinner, walking the dog, you name it. It's pretty sleek and simple - the waist cinch makes it look awesome. I am between a Medium and Large, and so glad I ordered the large. While this jacket runs true to size, the Large allows me to layer with chunky sweaters underneath without feeling restricted. If I'm wearing it with a thinner layer like a t-shirt underneath, the waist cinch makes it look like a perfect fit. Super flattering. If you're wavering, just get this one!

I ordered the Westoak City and Metroview Trench coats for my daughter to try for college. With all the walking, she really needed a longer, waterproof rain coat. The Westoak was the clear winner ... nice fit, high quality, a little longer in back for coverage, you can roll and secure the hood under a collar flap and it doesn't look weird, the fabric looks and feels nice, and it was even less expensive. The Metroview was stiffer and noisier. Love the Westoak and will probably get myself one.

I love the way this jacket looks and feels. It gives just enough room for extra layers to warm it up and it is just light enough to prevent sweating and overheating when walking long distances while commuting to work. I love the way this jacket feels, especially the Velcro sleeves and the hood that can be tucked away. The pockets are even very comfortable, so I enjoy having my hands in my pocket. The pockets are also deep enough to hold a large phone, keys, and a small flashlight. Some commented on the hood- I commuted into the city today on a windy/cold day and did not have any issues. The hood did it's job and did not keep flying off of my head. I give this jacket a 10/10!

Always nervous about buying jackets and coats online bc I am picky with the fit, but with the healthcare worker discount I couldn't let it go to waste! I love this jacket, my old raincoat was falling apart and needed a new one. I purchased the yellow color, color was true to the photograph and the jacket is very lightweight. The size is perfect, i bought a size medium and usually wear a size 4-6 in clothing.

Wow. I'm a city dweller who loves technical gear that looks stylish in the street. The mustard yellow color is lovely, fabric is delightful, and cut is very flattering. I am 5'2, 100# and got the XS which fits nicely - the sleeves were a bit long but they always are for me.

I tried several styles of the North Face rain jackets and parkas and this is the winner. There was a black one in the NF store and was able to try not on and it looked so stylish. The first says standard fit so I tried on the large size first, which is the size I normally by for standard fit, it was very roomy with shoulders slightly big. Tried on the medium and of course more tapered but still able to wear a jacket or sweatshirt underneath. I am 5'4" and 135lbs. Arms are a little long but wristbands are adjustable to accommodate the length. The hood can be rolled up and stylishly stowed under the collar. I did not purchase the black coat in the store as that was the only color. More color choices online and purchased the grey color.

I like the look of the jacket, the way the hood rolls up & pockets. I'm having some trouble tightening the hood which was one of the reasons I bought it. Also I anticipated it would be warmer than it is. Again another reason for the purchase was a warm but lightweight rain jacket.

This jacket is very well made. It is a nice thicker raincoat with a soft interior and a long length, exactly what I was looking for. I am an avid hiker, literally go hiking once a week around 5-10mi in the PNW so having a raincoat that holds up is very crucial. For sizing I decided to go a size bigger than I normally would and went for a large. I am 5'7, 150lbs, 34b in the chest and have a bigger bum size than most, to say the least I'm on the curvy side. With the large I was noticing some slight restriction in the shoulders and chest if I try to extended my arms forward or bend over. Otherwise the large is a nice fit, fully covers the bum while still allowing room in the front and I have space to wear a puffy jacket underneath. I did decide to try an XL to see if it would help with the chest restriction. The XL fits me a bit more like a tent, the sleeves are longer but the chest restriction is still slightly there. Not sure which size I'm going to keep, it's kind of a struggle to find a long raincoat that fits a curvy body properly. Otherwise so far this jacket is great and provides the rain coverage I was looking for.

I wear a 2 and this is my second jacket from North Face, I should have gotten an Xsmall but opted for the Small. I definitely have wiggle room and I guess I can layer to make it fit better. The drawstring helps. The length is nice I can wear longer shirts without them hanging down past my jacket.

Love the waterproof quality. Very effective. The buttons, however are badly secure. Two of them have fallen out within a month, and I havent worn it that much!!!

I have been looking for a raincoat for a long time. Looks good on and fits good. The downside is the drawstring waist is too high when cinched, plus it is a bit pricey. I wouldn't recommend this coat to a person with a long torso.

I have been looking for a raincoat for some time. The fit is great and looks good too. One thing I don't like about it is the drawstring waist is a little too high when cinched. Plus, it is a bit pricey. I wouldn't recommend this raincoat if you have a long torso.

I bought this to replace my Eddie Bauer WeatherEdge parka. I love everything about it except it's a little long in the back. Might get it hemmed.

I haven't had a chance to wear this in the rain yet, so I can't vouch for waterproof quality. Color name is an oxymoron- it's green, not taupe.

Pretty and practical. The sleeves were long for me because I'm petite, but the velcro sleeve closures will make wearing it o.k.

Th sleeve length is too long, however that is usual for me. I need to either roll them up or have them shortened. I'm very happy with the coat.

Does the job and is cute. Has drawstrings to pull the waist in if you want a more fitted look. Only drawback was the zippers dont align easily at the bottom so it can take a while to get it zipped up. Maybe this is just mine, but over time it's gotten better.

Great material, feels luxe. Not cheap, slippery and crinkly lIke some of the other northface trenches. Comfortbale not too tight on the waist. Pulls on the waist helps adjust fit nicely.
