I typically love the UltraRange shoes and have several pairs. However, the plastic part that covers the toes make a weird popping sound every time I take a step. After about 2 minutes of wearing them I have to take them off because it drives me crazy. I refuse to wear them at this point and wasted $100. Lesson learned.

I've worn vans for 20+ years. This is by far the worst quality shoe they've ever made. I've worn them about 2 hours around the house and walking and the toe is already completely seperated. Seems like a majority of reviews say the same thing here.

I've been buying these shoes for a few years now. I'm not sure what's happened to the quality, but these are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. Legit hurts my feet when I try to walk in them. Maybe I just received a crappy pair but if I were you, I'd buy with caution. Unfortunately I think this will be my last pair of vans and I'll switch to another brand :-/

Make your shoes shaped liked an actual foot and I'll buy them. Bracken take your shoe off, trace it on a white piece of paper, then take an insole out of a pair of vans and set it on top of your foot. It's a genius idea and I just gave it to you for free.
Your welcome.

This sneaker literally stated ripping in the same exact place on both sneakers within 2 months. They are complete garbage. After reading some of the reviews I was hopeful. They're worse than I could imagine.
I've been wearing Vans for years. Never again. Moving on to a better quality sneaker.

I really wanted some comfier shoes with a little more support since I like the Van's look so much. These ain't it. I'm sure someone with calloused ankles or ankle guards are ok with them but not myself. I'm returning them promptly.

The sole is so stiff, there is no cushion like my older ultraranges. Breaks my heart. The shoe has no structure, looks horrible. I will only buy them if they start making them the way they used to. Cmon Vans don't make me lose total hope :(

These are comfortable and look great. However, they fell apart. I’ve had them less than two months and worn them maybe 10 times. The mesh separating from the vinyl, so there’s a big hole on one side and the vinyl is separating from the rubber on the other. A very expensive pair of disposable shoes.

Both shoes tore straight down the middle of the inner sides after 3 months of wear. Comfortable but I shouldn't have palm sized tears in them after THREE MONTHS for A HUNDRED BUCKS

Ok, so, right off the bat, I'll go ahead and say that I'm an orthopedic doctor in Brazil, and as a healthcare professional, I've discouraged the use of Van's shoes for years, due to the poor arch support and comfort, which could lead to feet pain, especially plantar fasciitis.
I've got these ultrarange exos as a gift, from my girlfriend, who really loves this brand, and she wanted me to change my opinion with this especific model, which promises good arch support and comfort for long periods. To be honest, I did change my opinion. I always imagined that the Vans would at least offer well made products with good quality control. But I was very disappointed with these shoes, for their poor quality control, I honestly had higher expectations within this price range. When I first put them on, I actually thought that my opinion was changed, but after using them for 1 week, I realized that the right shoe just fit different from the left one, and my right foot started to hurt pretty bad, the longer I wore the shoe. It feels like my right ankle is being twisted outwards. Also, on the site (vans.com.br), it's described that the insoles aren't removable, but mine are. And boy do they look cheap, so cheap that it actually looks fake put some pictures down here, they look nothing like the ultra Cush in some other vans models.
Anyway, if that's not enough, I've filed a complaint to the store I bought them in, and for 2 weeks now, had no reply.
As doctor, from now on, will keep on NOT recommending Vans, not only for the poor anatomic support for your feet, but also because the quality in this product is not worth your money.

I purchased the white and black color way after having a really good experience with a different colorway. I purchased this back in November and today, January 22nd, the sole became separated from the shoe. I wear these shoes in the office, so it is very minimal walking around and after only 3 months this happened. It's a shame as I really enjoyed the previous pair for years.

Product look is good but after using it for the only a couple of times.. not more than 10 times, the back strap got undone and ripped from the heel.
Other vans i got Vr3 ultrarange also start to get with issues in the the sole of the sneakers where it is detached. Both shoes were not often used and are driving early problems like cheap sneakers.
Quality is at risk due to cheaper materials.

I bought this model for myself like 3 years ago, the quality and how comfortable the shoes are is amazing. I thought about gifting them to my boyfriend for Christmas. Unfortunately, they are now using cheaper materials and in general the shoes don't look or feel the same as they were making it initially. Also, the fact they run small and that 14 is not available is disappointing.

Worn vans for a decade. Have vans that have lasted that long. Got the ultrarange exo STRICTLY for work, a month ago. Haven't worn them for anytime longer than my work shift. Not even during lunch when i leave the store. Glue on one shoe is already coming apart.

They had to be returned. They smelled very strongly of mold and were not new.

Most uncomfortable shoe ever. I tried to write a review about this shoe before. I'm going to return. I am disappointed to be honest.

SUPER uncomfortable. Regular vans are more comfortable than these. Idk how they made this shoe and thought "this is the one we are going to promote as versatile and comfortable." I'm going to return them and exchange them for regular vans. I wouldn't waste your money & for the price, I thought I would feel like I'm walking on a cloud but nope. It digs in your heels and other parts of your feet.

I have owned these for 2 months and I will never buy another pair of Vans because of these shoes. Horribly uncomfortable. After 2 hours, my arch is screaming. The rubberized bits on the upper are peeling off. The sides of the sole looks like it's been chewed on and I already have a hole forming where the shoe creases on top from walking. Absolute trash

One of the insoles was about 2 inches too short. The standard internal packaging Vans normally ships wasn't present. Shoes looked returned!

There is a seem right in the middle of the heel cuff. So even though the shoe fits well and my heel doesn't slip, there is some irritation when walking, even when wearing a thicker sock. The tongue also has an odd square cushion in the middle of it. Honestly the whole shoe seems oddly designed. I returned to the UltraRange line because I loved having a vans fit with a more walk friendly shape in the past, but these definitely fell below my expectations. These shoes aren't worth it, even on sale!

I bought these for my 13 yo son. I bought the first pair right before school started and they separated from the sole before 60 days so I sent them back. Ordered them again and both shoes are wearing a hole in the fabric. Not durable.

Used for walking. Kind of a sloppy soft feeling that leaves my feet tired. Too thin.

Awful shoes. WAY too tight, too narrow, too stiff, too long. The previous generation of UltraRange's where perfect. The new EXO's are trash.

It took 4 months to get the first hole on the side
I love how how comfortable they are, but really disappointed how they last.
