I love these shoes. Like walking on air. Got the neon color and good choice. Easy to clean. Only downside is New Balance made a seam at the top of lacing area that is rigidly sewn. Change that and they are perfection. Like the deeper heal slot.

These are a perfect shoe for long and short distances. Light with plenty of cushion.

I took advice of other reviews and ordered the wide, which fit well. I normally don't wear wide. The shoes are nice looking, loved the colors. These shoes are super cushioned and bouncy, very comfortable, unfortunately they caused my left foot to roll in causing knee pain and I need to return. I wish this wasn't the case as I really liked everything about these shoes. I usually wear a neutral shoe, so support shouldn't have been a factor.

This is my third version of Fresh Foam 1080 shoes. I’ve loved the other two and was skeptical of this new heel style. I love it! The shoes are really comfortable and the heel doesn’t slip, which was always been a problem for me. I also like the the embossing on the outside of the heel kind of looks like brains! I don’t love the color choices, but I only wear them for working out, so that’s fine.

I love the cushion & comfort of these sneakers. My first pair was spectacular, my second was too narrow but I suffered through, the third pair, I got smart and ordered 3 different sizes, and ended up with 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear in a wide width, and they are a great fit. Finally.....hope they keep the design the same for next round.

I have tried about every cushioned shoe Zappo's has and finally found the one that works for my feet. Thank you Zappo's for your wonderful customer service. My feet are over 70 years, very thin, with very high arches. Two Morton's neuromas on one foot were removed last year. I needed good cushion with a wide toe box and enough room for custom orthotics. I purchased these shoes in a wide based on loads for reviews and they are perfect. My orthotics fit and don't squeak, and the shoe fits my foot very well. I love them and my feet do too!!

These are my go to running shoes. They are very light and have great cushioning. I am a "neutral" runner, so just need moderate support. The color is super bright, which is fun not that we are headed to summer.

I try all kinds of shoes for work. I stand from 10-11 hrs a day, and shoes are what can make or break my day. These shoes fit great. There is so much cushion. I might buy 2 in case I can’t find them later on.

Very confortable and performant. Needs to be breaking up a little. At first my plantar was a little too compress so it was a little numb but after running and working out a couple of times I don't have any problem anymore. It is definately a running shoes more than a workout shoes. If your workout is based on balance it can be challenging with those because the sole is cushionny and a little curvy front to back. I do workout with it and I got used to it but the running is the best. I purchased those sneakers because I had constant calves sprain with my other sneakers( asics) when I was running. Now I'm all set with those. Definately recommend it! worth the price, I got the black one and there are very pretty and well snugg and fit. My size is between 7 1/2 and 8 so I picked 8 and it's actually perfect fit. I hope it can help you to decide..

Love them. Just a smidge longer than normal but the best fit ever. And so comfortable.

Great fit! Suuuuper comfy! I love running in them. It’s like clouds but also supported. The back part was a wee bit stiff at first and took a little getting used to, but maybe that’s just me. I wanna buy another pair. I bought the black animal sort of pattern and they’re pretty versatile and fashionable. I wish they had more neutral pattern and color selections, tho these shoes themselves are more loud than other NBs. If you don’t like the weird little pads on the ankle parts, you’ll love these!! They sort of slip right on and have a smooth inside. Those pads on other shoes def pinched a nerve.

I LOVE THESE SHOES! I went for my first run, and I have to make modifications in all my running shoes because of my sky-high arches and instep. Here's what I did: I re-lace them, to make more room for my instep (video online), I exchange the insole for my OTC orthotics, again, for my high arch and instep. Also, the part where you put your foot in is quite narrow, but even with my fat feet, I was able to adjust for that because other reviewers had already mentioned it. It's not a negative for me. The color is a garish fluorescent lime, which I don't like, but whatever, you can definitely see me coming. The shoes are extremely light, very cushiony and wide enough for my fat feet. New Balance has done it again!! I've been a fan for years, especially of the 1080, and I still am, with these new shoes. Yippee! Also, I run on sidewalks by choice, and they felt great!

I love this shoe so much, this was actually my second pair to buy. I have one pair for work (nursing) and one pair for running. They are so supportive, comfortable and fit fantastic. I would highly recommend.

I love these!! They feel like I’m walking on marshmallows! Walked 2 miles the day I got them & they don’t rub anywhere nor did I get a blister. The fit is perfect.

I love this model. I have worn NB running shoes for many years, and have had to adapt to the model changes every year - fall in love with what I'm wearing and when I go to order new ones, the model has changed. So I was very happy with the 1080V9. I ordered the 1080V10 because I could no longer find the previous model in my size. I wear an 8.5, and live in a very hilly area. All my workouts are on hills, and as often as possible I use cross country trails. I love the added cushioning on the V10! It makes a big difference, especially for road running. I can tell that the toe box is somewhat smaller, but as others have said, the stretchy material is forgiving. I have no issue with the heel of the shoe causing friction against the back of my foot or heel. I am sorry that this has not worked out for some other people, because it is the most comfortable NB shoe I have ever worn. I ordered 3 pairs, all the same size, and now have to keep all of them - I was going to choose my favorite color of the 3, but can't give them up, in case this model goes away. I am 68 years old, and after 45 years of long distance running, my knees are very appreciative of this change. Love them!

This is the most comfortable shoe I know. I run in it. It has great support, and it also has sufficient padding that the bottom of my feet don't get sore. If the bottom of your feet are losing their padding like mine are, then this is the shoe you want and need. This shoe runs ½ size smaller than usual, so order ½ size up. It will fit like a dream.

I absolutely LOVE these. Been running in the On Cloudflow which o have loved. I wanted a little more cushion for the longer mileage. I have a slightly narrow foot and these New Balance are PERFECT! They also look really good too which is a big bonus for running shoes!

Love the shoe...cushioning was a huge need of mine and this shoe delivers. It does seem to fit smaller across the toes than the Ghost, so I ended up with a half size larger and a wider width to accommodate that and an orthodic. Really appreciate Zappos return policy and speed of delivery.
