I bought this to use while traveling since my eko and pro mats take up so much space. I'm glad I did a test run on this before taking it on a week long retreat. It's nice and grippy until it sensesthe slightest bit of moisture. Then it's a slip and slide--I almost never use a towel on my regular eko mat in hot vinyasa classes when I'm sweating from minute 1, but I wouldn't ever use this mat without one after my experience barely sweating in a dharma yoga class. This was good for stretching out on a hotel room floor, so it can have a few stars for that.

I bought this product on 19th August and since then I managed to use it only twice - and not without struggle! The poignancy of its rubber smell is a unbearable, despite the nearly two weeks I've left it outdoors on a daily basis. And forget about performance during your Yoga classes! Non-existent grip on a surface which seems to be coated with soap-foam as soon as you start sweating. I was so excited about my purchase and so looking forward to using it regularly! I clearly had way too many expectations that the product didn't ultimately meet. Overall, an absolute waste of money!

I bought this mat and at first I was impressed by the grip, but when I started practicing more intensely (and sweating...) the grip was totally lost and it became quite slippery, significanlty worse than other mats. Not satisfied at all.

I am very disappointed with this mat. This mat is not sticky enough and becomes incredibly slippery with the slightest bit of moisture. I typically don't use a yoga towel when I practice, but becomes a requirement if I use this mat. Kinda defeats the purpose of traveling light.

This mat is very light and easy to transport. I imagine it would be great if you were taking public transportation to work and had a yoga class right after and didn't want to be weighed down all day...this would be great in a situation like that. I'd rate it a 10 as far as living up to the "SuperLite" claim. The compromise is that if this mat is placed on a hard flooring surface, you literally have no support and I'd absolutely give in a 0 in terms of cushion/comfort/support. So if your sole need is something that is flexible and easy to transport, this is for you. Otherwise, consider one of their other products which I assume are better.

The only cool part about this mat is that it's foldable and I could tuck it into my suitcase with ease. Otherwise, it's pretty useless. It feels sticky to dry hands, but as soon as you get warm, you'll be sliding all over the place. I was disappointed. It might be better with the towel on top, but the description made it seem to be slip resistant.
