I have worn an old Chaco for probably 10 years...yes, they hold up that well. They no longer make that style...do wish it would come back. I decided to try these for comparison. The arch support is not quite as good as the previous ones. I liked these on my narrow foot b/c they are not clunky looking...they are a slender shoe. I am returning them because they top straps are not as snug as they should be for the shoe to feel secure...especially knowing they will stretch a little. If you do not have a particularly narrow foot, I recommend these.

The straps were so tight, I couldn’t even get my foot all the way in. So disappointing. I’ve worn the Chaco Flip for 15 years and I guess I’ll be moving on since they’ve changed the fit so drastically.

Very comfortable. Nice to have a flip flop with arch support. They feel a little tight at first but they are getting more comfortable the more I wear them.

Love love love this flip flop! It has a narrow foot bed...so it doesn't look klunky on my foot. The straps are tighter than some flip flops...which is awesome for me because I always have a problem with my feet sliding around in most flip flops. The arch is excellent...which is really hard to find in most flip flops. My all time favorite and best fitting flip flop that didn't hurt my feet was the Teva Original Flip...which has been discontinued. This is the closest I have come to finding a very similar flip flop...after buying many many different brands and styles.

Let me say first: these are not as good as the old Chaco flips. I have super high arches and those were the best. And: they just broke :( I've previously tried the reincarnated flips and hated them, but thought I'd try again because these looked different. And they ARE different. They're good. The arch support is a little strange but not bad--I'd say it's more like the Z1 or Z2 strap sandals. The bed is solid and they make more of a sound as you walk in them. I like the wide straps and they are snug. I have narrow feet so I'm guessing these would not be great for anyone with wide feet or you'd have to size up. I am a true 6 1/2 and I ordered a 7 because I had both a 6 and 7 in the old Flips and the 7 was just more comfy if my feet got hot and swollen. So I'm keeping these. I'm really glad they're improved. The sole is definitely heavier than the originals but I appreciate the way it absorbs impact. I'm keeping them.

Fit well. I have a narrow foot and this style is made for a narrow foot. I wear a 7.5-8 and the 8 fit well.

I love these. I have wanted to find a pair of summer flip-flop style sandals to wear around the house, something that gives more support than my regular flat flip-fops since I have terrible lower back pain and need better support. These are super comfortable with great arch support. I saw some reviews that commented on the narrowness between the footbed and the thong, but they fit me perfectly. This probably comes down to each individual's shape of their foot. Some of the comfort shoe brands that only come in whole sizes do not fit my 6-1/2 foot, but the Chaco size 7 fits just right. Aesthetically, the sandal is very attractive, with nice detailing at the thong's center. The taupe color goes with everything, though I would have liked more color selection. I put them on the moment I took them out of the box, and have worn them non-stop since.

I usually wear 6.5 shoes, and these size 7 flip-flops fit my feet well (for reference, I have narrow and quite flat feet). The sandals offer exactly what I was looking for, which is a supportive, comfortable outdoor feet protection.

I thought these would be great pool sandals. However, the section that goes across the top of the foot and then between the toes was uncomfortably tight. Too bad, and I don’t have what I’d consider “fat feet”!

I love these sandals! I've been trying to replace Chaco flips that are several years old and these are the closest I've found. I had to size up from a 5 to a 6, though, because Chaco changed their sizing. Wish I could get them in other colors - like brown and navy.

The flip flops were good quality. The first pair were a little small so I ordered the next size. They were longer but still a little tight at the toe. They were a gift and she was afraid they may not loosen up. As usual, Zappos has excellent service and quality products. The return process was easy and quick. I am still on the lookout for a replacement. Just wish we still had stores to go into and try shoes on. Thanks Zappos for your service

The flip flop was very nice. It would have been comfortable but it was too small and therefore tight at the toes and on top of the foot. Heal came all the way to the end. Half sizes aren't offered so I am hoping the whole size larger that I ordered will be a fit. It was a gift, not an item for myself.

I originally ordered these in a 10, based on other reviews of flip flop being too tight and short. I had to exchange for a size 9 which is my usual Chaco size. The 10 was way too big and my feet fit perfectly in the 9. The left shoe is slightly tight on me, but that is the foot that tends to swell some. Even with the left shoe being a little tight, I still have no complaints on comfort and have been wearing them all day.

I have very very flat feet and was told that Chaco's offer arch and heel support. I especially needed a flip-flop for beach wear whose soles would keep my feet gripped when wet which these did. The arch support was acceptable. Comfort acceptable for wearing around beach and house with hard tiled floors but not all day but I would buy these again.

The straps were a little tight, but I wore them around the house a few times to break them in. The arch support is amazing. I would order half size up on future Chaco sandals. I live in a hot climate, so sandals are a year-round shoe here. I needed these so I could have some flippies and keep the arch support.

I bought these to replace a pair of Chaco flips I'd had for more than 10 years (with a lot of use!). The foot bed feels softer, the straps are a bit thinner (which I like), and they seem smaller. I first ordered an 8 (same size as my old pair), but my heal was just slightly hanging off the back. Sized up to a 9 and they now fit just like my old, broken pair. Sad to see the old ones go, but excited to have found the right fit in the new version. Only time will tell if they are as durable.

I love these flip flops, they lasted for years! This new model is lovely, but they do run small so order up a size!

I typically wear a size 9 in chacos yet with these I had to go up to a 10. These flip flops are comfortable, I would definitely repurchase.
