Not adjustable beyond 1" and the molded material is abrasive and rubbed my inner arches raw. (In the photo, I'm pointing at the problem area.) Returning them! I'm surprised and bummed. I'm a loyal Chaco fan and this bad experience is a first. No amount of adjusting the strap will solve the abrasion problem and for this price, I don't want to try to fix it with moleskin. It's a design flaw. Hard pass. This is a featherweight, loose-fitting slide with an arch support that's better than Chaco's thin leather (prettier) sandals, but not as robust as their common, heavier Z2/Luvseat sole. The molded material of the sole/sides reminds me of neoprene, but thicker and less flexible.  Cute colors can't make up for the abrasive bad spots. I wanted SO badly to love them. Thankful for Zappos' awesome return policy!

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I have been an avid Chaco wearer for years. I have been working from home and was looking for a comfortable slipper-type shoe to wear in the house and yard. To be clear, I would not be able to walk in these for long periods of time - they are too loose and my foot would cramp up. Many of the reviews say that these are made for a fat foot. While I don't appreciate the word fat, I do have wide feet, bunions, and lots of foot pain. These are plenty wide to accommodate me which is a first! I choose to wear them very loose and not tighten the strap, but I could adjust them to be more snug. If I had a medium or narrow foot, I can see they might be too big. But, they are squishy, lightweight, and perfect for what I wanted them for. The description even says these are for wearing at home and they are truly so comfy for around the house. TL;DR If you have wide feet, give these a try. If you are looking for a shoe for walking around your house, give these at try. If you have a narrow foot or are looking for something to wear while walking around town all day, these are not for you.

I've had Chaco's sandals before, with wonderful adjustability to fit feet of many widths & shapes. ALAS, these have that adjustable look, but actually have very little. Must send back.

This shoe is perfect for someone with high arches. Unfortunately for me I have flat feet with arthritis in my arches and they hurt my feet.

My wife's feet swell with edema. I read a number of reviews saying that people couldn't get the strap tightened up enough to hold the slide on their feet. I thought, "perfect!" but the strap wasn't long enough to fit on ,y wife's swollen feet. Maybe Chaco read the reviews and shortened the strap. Thanks Zappos for great return policy. Never buy shoes anywhere else.

these slides are huge and made for a very fat foot . have zero support

I was worried about ordering these slides after reading reviews that they couldn’t be tightened up. I am so glad that I did because they fit my normal width foot just fine and can even be tightened up a little more. The arch support is great and they are really nice and cushy for the foot. I fractured my foot in December and these slides are great for adjusting to my foot and the support is great, too. I love the light tie dye pattern!

I was confused by all the reviews that said "not adjustable". NOW I understand! Chaco has simply put too much slack in the main "Z" so even when the short tab that IS adjustable is maxed out, there is still too much slack remaining in the "Z". So unless you have a high-volume foot with a high instep, you are unlikely to be able to tighten the strap enough. I happen to have the tools to fix the problem (removing buckle, hot knife the webbing, resew the buckle on), otherwise I'd be sending these back. But because I can fix it, I'm looking forward to wearing this otherwise comfortable and cute-ish shoe. I have a pretty wide foot (C/D) and these fit comfortably. If you are A/B and/or low volume, I'd skip this pair.

I really liked these sandals, but there is no way to adjust them to be any tighter. They feel like they will constantly be slipping off.

These shoes looked great, but they just rubbed my foot raw on the outsides.

Everything was as I hoped and these will replace my cheap flip flops. I use my other chacos for hiking but these are perfect for around the house

I LOVE these BUT wish they didn’t rub so badly. I’ve tried all summer to build up calluses where these rub on the second strap just above my arch. I’m usually good at getting my feet to adjust to rubbing areas, but these are just way too harsh to wear without socks. So, I wear them with socks, but I mostly only wear them around the house since I don’t always love the socks with sandals look in public. I have a medium wide foot, and I felt like I fell right in the middle of the adjustable range for the top strap. For some folks, these are too narrow or too wide, but if you have a medium wide foot, that part should be fine. The really bad rubbing is the sad part, because I otherwise think these are perfect.

While these slides certainly seemed comfortable, I apparently have a VERY narrow foot because I could not tighten them enough for a good fit. Had to return them.

These are perfect for anyone who is pregnant in the summer. I wear them almost exclusively. Easy to get on and off without bending down, nice and wide for my swollen feet, good traction for walking around. My only complaint is that they get dirty really easily. I have the teal and the grey footbed got filthy on my first beach outing of the season. Also, the tread is very fine so dirt and mud gets caked in there and is hard to get out. Had to buy a shoe brush to clean them because I kept tracking mud in our boat. They aren’t the cutest footwear I’ve ever bought, but practical and perfect for my needs right now. I’ll probably keep wearing them even after pregnancy because they’re so easy to slip on and off. Really lightweight too and I hope to use them as camp shoes for backpacking eventually. Never been disappointed with Chacos. Going on 12 years with my first pair and they’re still going strong and I hope these last a long time too.

These are crazy big. I have a very high instep and I couldn’t begin to strap these down far enough so the strap even touched my feet.

These are my absolute favorite sandals but the plastic piece that connects and holds the canvas on the straps has broken. This is the second time this has happened with another pair.

This has been my favorite sandals for the last couple of years but unfortunately they never last. If anyone comes close to stepping on your heels in a crowd then instantly break where the top strap is held. Very sad that they don’t hold up.

Way too wide for me and even though they look adjustable they are not.

The shoes were much larger than my Chaco flip flops of the same size. The classic design that Chaco has where all the straps tighten does not apply in these sandals. I couldn't tighten them around the top of my foot and they were much too wide.

Great comfort and fit. Will definitely purchase again!

I got the taupe color and they’re so cute! I loosened the strap ( yes it is adjustable) and they don’t rub like another reviewer said. So comfy….I’m an 8-1/2 and the 8 is perfect

The color is cute and feminine. I knew I'd love them bc my husband has a pair in black. They are our "hot tub shoes". Not sure I'd wear them out and about bc they are clunky looking but definitely comfy.
