I gave these shoes to my grown son on his birthday because he specifically asked for them. He and his wife just bought a house on the water and he intends to use these as water shoes as he fishes from the shore. There's lots of live oysters, whose shells can cut one's feet, and these shoes will function perfectly to stabilize his footing and protect his feet as he walks and fishes along the shore. Perfect for his situation!

After having ankle surgery, these are the most comfortable shoes I've worn. I wear them everywhere. Beach, hiking, biking, travel. Anywhere.

I bought these to replace some similar close, toed, Keen sandals. These are much more comfortable. They are well padded, easy to put on and off, and stay in place. I'm very happy with them, and would buy them again.

I like the rocking sole design and wider fit for my foot. Easy on, easy off.

I wore this comfortable shoe wear to Anna Maria Island Beach & Sarasota Florida. These sandals makes you feel like you are wearing nothing but a cloud on your feet. The sizing was right. Everything was right. I definitely would gladly recommend this footwear to everyone.

I have purchased 3 pairs of these shoes in the last 2 years and they are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I have ever worn.

I suffer from metatarsilalgia and acute veinous insufficiency. Only wear Hoka shoes, they give my feet the relief I need to be able to take walk. The Hopara Sandles are cool to wear which is a great help with the compression socks I have to wear.

These were comfortable the first time I put them on. They were more cushioned than I expected and had no issues with seams or straps rubbing into my feet. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Dealing with CMT I need a wide toe box. Even though this sandal doesn't have with widths that I usually get I found the toe box is great for my toes. Also with the wide sole I don't see or feel a visible rollover at the heel. I am really happy with these sandals and the protection of the toes. These will also be my traveling shoe as I can take them off and on easily. I did order a 1/2 size up.

I now have 3 pairs of Hoka shoes-hiking, walking, and recovery and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Worth every penny if you care about your feet.

I bought these to replace a similar closed toe sandal by Keen and these are by far more comfortable.

I live in Miami Beach and never wear socks because they will get soggy haha. These sandals are very well designed and I love that I can adjust the fit snug or loose because of the pull tie. I wear wet or dry (paddle board gear ) clothing and the Wet or Dry function of these sandals put a remarkable finishing touch on my ensemble. However, the rubber straps are no match for the Miami Beach Sun and the straps dry up and break rather quickly.

You need to wear a few times before you make your decision. Little heavy and hot. Super Comfortable once you wear a few times.

This is my first foray into a sandal type of shoe. I've never worn flip flops or any type of sandal. Hikers were always my shoes of choice when not working. That said these were recommended by a podiatrist friend when I mentioned I went barefoot all the time around the house and in the yard. With hard floors, the beach, and pool deck my feet need support and protection, according to him, but wearing full blown shoes seemed overkill. The verdict is so far so good. I'm getting used to them, like the security and added comfort. My feet seem to like the too.

I have purchased 2 pair of shoes from HOKA and I'm in love with both. these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have knee issues and since I started wearing HOKA brand shoes, I've been pretty much pain free. I don't think I will ever go back to any other brand! I would however suggest buying 1/2 size larger then you normally wear.

Very comfortable for everyday casual wear. Comparable in quality to my other Hoka shoes.
