I have achilles heal issues, exacerbated while rucking, on tile, workingout, etc...., and that boot the doc gives just keeps you on the couch. Most hiking sandals address this, but Hoka sandals have GREAT tread and stability that other sandals I tried did not have. They're great for hiking (wear socks to help with small pebbles) and they're great for ruck hiking. I score the sandal a FuYa! top score. If you think this is a bit dramatic. Sometimes, past your mid-50s you need to be dramatic to get off your dairy air and DO IT. So grab your Hoka's and DO IT for life! -See you out there moving Rgds, Joey

I have put many miles on my first pair. Average about 30 miles a week and have had them for almost three years. I bought a new pair since the other ones are usable but will wear out someday. I wanted to be prepared with a new pair. I bought a half size up this time. They are just a tad snug. They are noisy on certain surfaces.

I work in the engineering environment so I don't have to wear formal leather shoes. I don't want to wear socks and I don't want to look too casual with slides, so these sandals are perfect. I can wear them to work all day or hiking on weekend. Very soft and comfortable.

My second pair, great shoes I wear them everyday in Mexico.

Easy on and off

Love these , have two pair, comfortable and love to kayak with these on ..i have wide feet ,so men's shoes are wider, feel the 8 1/2 in men's work perfectly for me..

I bought these to wear on hikes in the summer if I knew I was going to encounter water. As the summer went on these become my everyday shoe. It's the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn! More support than the running shoes so it's harder to twist an ankle.

Bought for my son who initially said he didn't like Hokas so I was awe to return. Tried them on anyway and his mind changed instantly. Looked great on and he said they were super comfortable. Should be great for our hiking trip on South America. New Hoka fan!

I will wear these sandals while hiking or playing disc golf.

Ive been a Keen sandal wearer forever. I got these to be my go-to shoe for cornhole tournaments. Sometimes im on my feet on hard surfaces for 5 hours or more at a tournament, and i can really feel it in my neck / shoulders. Would love to see a Plush cushioned version of these. I added some inserts for extra cushion and that helps a lot but why not have them in HOKA plush mode right from the start. ?? Just FYI it seems the preferred shoe at the tournaments are CROCS so why not bring HOKA into that market!!!!!!

They are very comfortable, waterproof and oder free. I didn't get them to be something I would wear on a daily basis, but that's exactly what happened. During the warmer months, there is nothing better for me. I don't like wearing open toed sandals out and about, but these give just enough cover to ever feeling inappropriate.

Size is true and my first pair of outdoor sandals. They set the bar high!

I recently bought these to use fishing on my boat and kayak. They drain very easy and are extremely comfortable. I did a guided musky charter a couple weeks ago and I fished 3 days and stood 12+ hours a day in these shoes and I can't be more than satisfied.

These are great water shoes. Excellent grip and they fit perfect. I bought to use as a fishing shoe and for my kayak.

Omg - these sandals are so good. I'm in Florida so my feet get wet all the time and flip flops are slippery and unstable when wet. The hopara hoka sandals are so much better. Btw - I took a 4 mile walk on the first day I had them with no problems. Super happy ! I always get my hokas 1/2 size bigger.

I bought these shoes thinking that they would be loose fitting and allow for good air flow. They are not loose fitting but are very comfortable and supportive. I would use them to do some lite hiking or banging around outside. They fit like a glove.

These are more comfortable than the Keens I used to wear. Will be getting another pair or two.

Was worried these would be too wide as my feet run slightly narrow but that wasn't an issue. Wore them to Disneyland and my feet felt better at the end of the day than any other shoes I've ever worn there. They also have a distinct kingdom hearts vibe if you get them in blue or pink. My husband has them too and calls them the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn.

I'm glad I purchased these for my trip to Aruba. They were very comfortable and rugged to withstand walks on the beach.
