Theses are comfortable shoes. Great on the boat. Great Hoka cushion and support. My only complaint is the loop you use to pull the back strap up is too small, it needs to be twice the size. Makes it tough to pull on. But once you get them on they are great.

Fit was just right, comfortable to wear. Could have better style and arch support.

I re-purchased these shoes after ruining my one year old pair by over-stressing the rear strap while trying to tug on the shoes. The rear strap and loop ripped completely, rendering the shoes useless. Be careful with this weak link. Otherwise, I really like these shoes for water sports and apre-hiking comfort.

I have high arches and wish the arch support were better. That is a weakness of most available sandals. These are the most comfortable walking sandals I have had, but a better arch support would be appreciated. Same goes for Hoka One One sneakers, which have a lot of cushioning but need better arch support.

Love the look and feel of these. There comfortable and have good arch support. They feel light and sturdy. If they last as long as my other similar water proof active casuals I'LL be more than impressed. Time will tell.

These may fit wide for most people, but for someone who usually needs a 4E, they are just barely wide enough. Otherwise the style and comfort is great, just what you would expect from Hoka.

A little stiff at first, but softened up after 1 week. A little wider than expected. Much more comfortable than Crocs or open toe shoes. Great solution for my sweaty toes at the end of the day. I would but it again, but in a smaller size.

I like the Hoparas. They are good for those of us Phoenicians who live in the hot desert. They are very comfortable too. A couple of suggestions I would make is to design a slightly higher heel to toe drop and for the love of God...could Hoka please stop putting lottery sctratch ticket paint on the soles of 90% of their shoe models? That would be great...thank you. I have some good comfortable Hokas that aren't that old with lots of miles left and they look like they've barely survived a war zone.

Great shoe. I use for fishing kayaking and hiking however I know you can have everything but I wish they were a bit lighter. Kinda heavy overall. I love how they take the pressure off low back and handle grip on wet surfaces when fishing all day on boat. Hopefully they can withstand washing regularly due to the can get a bit ripe with repeated water crossings or moisture.

I wanted something as simple (and toe protecting) as Keen sandal, but with better arch support and cushion. These deliver exactly that. The interior is foam, so it feels a bit like a Croc, if those had better texture and arch support. (They don't.) The ride is very smooth, and the rubber on the bottom is substantial. These would be good hiking sandals for those who can tolerate sand spill to the interior. The only knock I have is that I can't quite eliminate the tiny bit of heel slip I get on my right foot. But then, I have long (13) narrow feet, and I think the right is just slightly shorter, since the left fits just fine. Possibly changing out the paracord-type lace with a strong elastic one would give me the ability to tighten it up a little more without putting pressure on the top of my foot. I'll see if I need to do that.
I'm really not a sandals guy, and I love these for post-run housewear. Better yet, I can take them out in public without looking like a complete Croc tool, and I can walk a reasonable distance in them without wishing I were wearing my Bondis, Stinsons, Cliftons, or Mafates.

The Hopara is super comfortable. Unlike the Keen sandals the Hopara has a great arch support. Unfortunately they are way to warm for a summer sandal. They run a little small for size

So I ordered these and the keens hyperport h2s and while the soles are comfortable the heel strap and over all inner construction doesn't feel comfortable the heel strap is very thin and no comfort on the backside of the heel at all I opted for a 12.5 size glad I did a normal 12 would've been too tight. Unfortunately these compared to the other Brand in my opinion come second this is strictly my opinion personally the soles in these like others say are ridiculously comfortable to any other hybrid water shoe/ sandal again the comfortably inside is there as a whole ..it's hard say if I would recommend everyone is different.. going off my experience

Hopara were great to look at out of the box, but within an hour or so wearing them around the house I knew that they would not work for me as they were too tight against the sides of my feet. If you have flat, wide feet then perhaps hold off on ordering these until Wide sizes are offered.
Quick shipping and no issues with return.

I love the shoes, except the heal strap seam tore on the left shoe after wearing for only 2 months.
When pulling the shoe on using the rear finger loop, the seam where the strap joins tore apart.

Footbed is not very comfortable for all day wear. Should be fine in wet conditions. Not an everyday shoe like my Keens are.
