Bought as water shoes....ended up wearing them often because they are so comfortable. Great summer shoe!

Versatile & Comfy!

I got these for a backpacking trip where there would be many water crossings. I purchased them well in advance, so I would have time to break my feet in. They were immediately comfortable for hour-long walks, and I was soon walking 4-6 hours without breaks. I decided they could be my only footwear on the 3-day, 45-mile outing. They were perfect! They had plenty of width and toe-box space, were easy to get on and off, and surprisingly stable on rough, steep surfaces. I wore them with thin socks on the trail, and sock-less around camp. Great combination of cushion, support, and durability. After around 200 miles, they are not nearly worn out. I can't recommend them highly enough!

The sandals are a good fit with high comfort and, to date, extraordinary durability.

Great for when you are definitely getting your feet wet and need a comfortable and reliable shoe.

Very happy with this shoe thus far! Feels very supportive and durable. I really enjoy the speed lacing which makes it quick and easy to secure your foot.

Husband and son-in-law devoted croc shoe river shoes owners. Crocs remodel on the base and straps of shoes didn't work for them. HOKA is perfect adjustable straps and the foot base fit well. No odor from wet water use.

The Hopara is a great beach/river sandal, very supportive and super durable. Great protection from sharp beach rocks! I love the cushion and not have to worry about foot injuries! Very comfortable for all day wear. Would easily buy these again!

Very comfortable and cool on feet

I recently bought a pair of Hoparas and was pleased with their fit, feel, and traction on wet and dry surfaces. I purchased them for a Kayak trip on the Colorado river. I needed a new pair of water/hiking shoe and figured I'd give them a try. I tried them with both socks on and off and prefered to wear socks but they were comfortable without socks, just that the water was very cold and I prefered the buffer of the sock to the cold.

Great fit, nice shoes, good for hiking, highly recommended.

I have been running in Bondi 7's for almost 2 years but my wife picked these up for me over the holidays. I still have not fully broken them in but have put about 5 miles on them and they work very well for me. My only ding is the ankle loop being very tight. The way the shoes are designed, I cannot think of a way to change it but it would be great for when it is time to put them on.

They are wonderfully versatile shoe. There are comfortable and are as great for hiking as they are for the beach. Only drawback is where the backstay meets the topline. This tends to wear out on the Hoparas very quickly. Hoping that this will have been redesigned in the new color. They have become an essential part of my weekly wear

Purchased this shoe to replace previous Crocs-branded shoe, better traction, better comfort and better fit.
