On a recent trip to Colorado I rafted the Arkansas River one day and Mt. Democrat (14,125) the next all in these shoes.

Hokas are my favorites! And these sandals are awesome! I wear them everywhere! Gonna hate when winter comes lol ! Super comfortable, great Hoka cushioning etc. Will definitely buy again. Better than any out there !

This is my 5th pair of Hoka but my first sandal style. I wore them in Alaska while hiking and water activities. The grip and flexibility over rocks is good as is the grip on smooth wet surfaces.

Wonderful show, support, comfort and quality. Unfortunate they sent blue instead of the black I ordered. The other pair for my friend came in the black and he also loves the shoes.

I usually could not wear a running/hiking sandal for very long, they were just to uncomfortable without socks. You don't wear socks with sandals. The Hopara is very comfortable and I can wear for long periods of time. Good construction and fit.

I found Hopara to be surprisingly capable to go "off road" on a moderate all terrain walk or hike. Secure fit to your foot but quite comfortable and capable. I was very impressed with first wear. Comfortable to wear all day also. Definitely recommend.

I wear these pretty much anywhere except for black tie dinners

I almost didn't buy these. I am so glad I did. Have never been disappointed with all my Hokas.
