I wear these to play disc golf and it took me about 1 and a half years to wear out the first pair. I am six months into my second pair and they are doing great. The fit is perfect for my 13 foot, laced up tight they provide unmatched foot support, and they ARE waterproof. I had to go into about 3 and 1/3 inches of pond, for about two minutes to fish out a disc and my socks remained dry. They clean up nicely and look great for out and about, too! I have a third pair in reserve.

They are comfortable from the time I put them on in the morning, till I take them off at the end of the day. I'll be purchasing another pair.

This is my second pair of these and I love them. They fit good and are very comfortable. I bought a pair at the beginning of the year and took them on the AT and hiked for 5 days. They held up great and took on everything that was thrown at them.

First, female having to wear men's hikers due to foot problem, Ordered wide, toe box is perfect. Great support of an ankle boot, and GTX is appreciated as waterproof usually don't work with water crossings or boggy conditions. Morton's Neuroma issue so these seem to work without squeezing toes w a lightweight pair of Darn Tough lightly cushioned socks. Appreciate being able to order a variety from Zappos to see what feels good for problem feet w high arches & nerve issues.

So far, so good. My wife and I each purchased a pair of the Hoka Toa GTX. These shoes are incredibly comfortable and have great shock absorption. We took them our on a dusty, rocky trail and they performed quite well. We were both impressed with the Vibram mega grip sole. It provided great traction. The jury’s out on the longevity of the boot. One final note: I gently cleaned the trail dust off the boot with lukewarm water and shampoo. ?

14 miles in some pretty rough terrain. Shoes were comfortable, durable and performed better than expected. These shoes are great. Highly recommended.

I use this shoe as a comfortable hiking shoe. The shoe provides ankle support, very good metatarsal cushioning, and a roomy toe box. For longer hikes, I replace the shoe insole with an Aetrex Lynco Insole which provides extra cushion and arch support.

I've been wearing these for 2-3 years. I love the shoe. It's comfortable, gives me support for my surgically fused foot and ankle and is great for work as well as dressier occasions.

I've worn these for 4 hikes now, all at or over 5 miles across various terrain. Super comfortable, good support and they seem to be just what I was looking for - the support of a hiker and the flexibility of the trail sneaker. I love these and would highly recommend them.

I received the TOA GORE-TEX the day before I planned on hiking 2- 4000 footers in NH. I had no plans of wearing them for the hike because I hadn't broken them prior too. Once I put them on, they felt so good, I decided to use them for my hike. They felt awesome, no problems what so ever. They felt great, and had a great grip on even some wet rocks. Usually when I've done a long hike, the first thing I want to do is take off by boots. I didn't even think about it until I got into my truck to drive home. Love these and have been telling everyone about them.

I live in a cold and rainy northern town without a car. I walk and bike everywhere. These boots have held up for a year now of regular use. They fit great and I never get sore feet! I was really surprised thinking I would need a pricy pair of leather boots but these Hokas were clutch. Keep it up!!

This is a great boot! It was comfortable right out of the box. Provides a lot of cushion, yet it's very stable. Traction is perhaps, a little much. When you want to stop, it stops abruptly! I recommend this boot to anyone that may need more cushion for their back or knees.

Better option than a traditional, bulky and heavy hiking boot. Super light weight and easy to maneuver different terrain.
