My feet burn and ache all the time. I hated to spend the money on work boots but I'm so glad I did. I can wear them all day and don't have to make a mad rush to them off when I get home!

I love this shoe after a long day wearing a steel toe shoes,
I wish this Hoka makes composite toe or steel if possible. I have to wear safety shoes for work. These do not comply, but I look forward to wearing these after work and the weekends when I am not running long miles ( I wear Bondi to run long distance). Love the cushion and love boot for everyday!!!

I'm a painter and needed something durable to work in but something that will give me the support I need. I love them. It's take a second to lace them up but the feel on your foot and at the end of the day your feet will thank you.

Use these for walking & working outside! Placed my orthodics in them and they feel like I am walking on Clouds. I have flat feet and the Hoka's have renewed my enjoyment for walking & being on my feet for extended periods! My new "Go To" shoe.

These are by far the best I have ever owned. Super comfortable. I've been hooked on the Bondi running shoes, so figured I couldn't go wrong with Hoka boots. I was right.

Awesome cushioning as one would expect from Hoka. Super comfortable out of the box. The lacing system is a bit awkward to get in the upper eyelets but they are secure so not a big issue. First hike with them produced no issues and my feet felt great.

I was looking for a boot that could protect my feet well and provide cushioning on the metatarsal region due to an old left foot/arch injury. I have previously been using Merrells with after-market insoles...and they work but my feet would still feel impact on the spot I was trying to protect despite multiple different insoles with different combinations. My cousin told me about these boots and so I bought a pair to try. I bought the size I normally wear and without any insoles added to what came in the box, I was sold! These boots are lightweight, offer good lacing to adjust the fit over the forefoot, arch, and ankle. They have a wide sole to distribute weight/footfall and a thick cushion just where I need it over the metatarsal area. I wore them a few days in the house to be sure of then fit and then took a steep , rugged dayhike to test them out (even though this meant I couldn't return them...but you HAVE to try them out sometime!). They did great over a lavafield/hillside climb, rocky trail, and steep hard packed dirt trail the entire hike. Good traction, lightweight and kept my feet safe. The real test will come backpacking but that wont be for several weeks yet.

I have owned other Stinson models and have liked the fit of them all. This Stinson adds a multi purpose dimension boot to my shoe inventory. Besides the obvious use for hiking I bought this shoe just before going to the mountains to go hiking); it also functions well as a motorcycle boot for overnight trips. It is the right height and support to protect the ankle, but unlike most motorcycle boots, it is much lighter and comfortable for walking when off the bike so I won't have to take another pair of shoes for walking. The heel to toe drop is idea for positioning the foot for operating the rear brake lever and shift lever on my Harley. The wide toe-bed is idea for wearing for long periods without cramping the toes and shutting off blood to the forefoot area.
Both the black and two-tone grey boots complement my traditional color riding gear. Hoka should consider it has stumbled on to a new market in which to advertise this product.

I am a older person 64 years old that has had Plantar Fascia several times in the last several years. These boots are very comfortable, good width for the toes, I also like the lacing system it holds the laces well. I did replace the insoles as always on all my shoes from day one. The sole I soft which I like, so mileage might very depends on the surface you walk on. I like the boots better than my HOKA Bondi 6 shoes, since you have the additional ankle support. My main us is around the yard, barn, working on our 10 acres and walking on hard surfaces.

Outstanding staff recommendations from their knowledge of orthotics and what shoe would be best for me to provide Stability, Comfort, Support and Endurance. I bought 2 Hokas, the ultra...for inside and the Stinson for outside primarily for it's more sturdy construction, but also High Quality and most importantly Support. Just have to get used to the upper eyelets which require some extra effort to secure. Ordered the Kaha and tested all. Sent the Kaha back just because the others felt somewhat better.

Hiked the smoky mountains for 3 days straight in these boots right out of the box. Logged around 10-12 miles each day over all types of terrain. Waded through several stream crossings and feet stayed dry the whole time.The comfort and cushion with these boots is amazing! Most comfortable hiker I have ever owned. They feel nice and light too and seemed to offer good arch support. Hopefully they hold up over time.
