I want to love these shoes especially at this price point. I've never spent this much on shoes just for work. I absolutely love the look of the shoe but the all day comfort just isn't there. I'm a retail pharmacy manager so I'm on my feet 9-10 hours a day. After about 3-4 hours my feet are killing me, almost like a throbbing pain. would not recommend for standing all day, may be ok for runners but I did select this style due to just googling what the best shoes for standing all day on concrete floors.

Shoes were way too narrow. I wonder if the wrong labels were on the shoe. I returned them

Not sure if I have a defective pair or one shoe but both tongues of the shoes feels like cheap hard plastic . And it's very uncomfortable mainly on my left foot. Would not buy this model again.

I have purchased prior and loved the shoes. This pair are very uncomfortable and I truly regret purchasing them. I no longer wear them due to the pain they cause my feet.

The Elevon 2 feels like it has good cushioning , but is still to narrow , even for a normal width foot.
Narrow toe box and mid foot.
Some other models offer a wide.
Despite a normal foot, the wide always feels better.

So i have now had this shoe for about 3 weeks now! I walk every morning for 2.5 miles. The bottoms of the shoe are almost worn out already!
Other than that its a really awesome, lightweight, forgiving shoe!

Shoe is otherwise comfortable but the tongue is too flimsy and lacing system too complicated. Not likely to buy again or recommend.

I have planters fasciitis and a web search led me to suggesting your Bondi model. I went to Fleet Feet in West Hartford CT and tried them on. Trying them on in the store was the first time I was without pain when I walked in years. However they were built for someone with a wide foot and the store had noting close to the Bondi by their admission. They said some men get the women Bondi because they are normal width but you do not make a woman's Bondi for my size, 11 1/2 men. I called your customer service and they assured the Elevon 2, which Fleet Feet did not carry, "is the same exact softness as a Bondi but normal width". I received them and I was very disappointed to find out they are soft but not much difference than other sneakers -- not even close to the Bondi. Let me know when you will start making a Bondi with a normal width and I will pay 3 times the going price. If I feel this way there may be many more like me so why not try it. I will be waiting.

Shoe not a good fit, seems to slip from my ankle a bit. Even utilizing a marathon tie. Every other Hoka I've had has been a perfect fit. It may be because my shoe is not broken in it. I've only been in them for a few miles (under 50.). May be an unfair review but time will tell....

The Elevon 2 is good looking shoe, but for some reason when I walked it sounded like I had swimming fins on. I have had Bondi's and Hupana's with no issue

Love look and feel of this shoe.....but whoever designed the tongue should be fired. Seriously. I can't put my foot in without the tongue folding over on the sides and hurting the top/sides of my feet. If you don't fire whoever designed this part of the shoe then you don't really care about the overall quality of your shoes and your customers well being. Think about it. Thank you.

My biggest issue is the new flat tongue. It doesn't stay in place cuts into my ankle on long runs. I'm guessing it was changed to compensate for the weight from the extra cushion on the heel. I'm not much of a heel striker so that improvement was lost on me. I'll stick with the original.

I bought these because I needed to replace my red and gray elevons and was glad to have a different color option from the gray/yellow and gray/red pair I already had. The store didn't have my size so they shipped me these to me. I am very disappointed in the fit, feel and bizarre tongue/lacing system. They are going back and I hope to find a pair of the older model. I also wish my older Hoka's lasted longer before I developed sore knees. They feel great for awhile and provide support and stability, but I've had other brands last much longer with a lower price tag. Lastly, how about some normal colors. Ton

Shoes looks nice, but they're uncomfortable and and make my feet hurt. They're not good for walking it makes my foot drop to the sides. This is my second pair of Hokas. My first pair are still the best the Rincon 3.

Do not purchase this, the tongue does not even cover the laces!!! Basically unwearable except for waking. Ergo I want to save at least one person from a poor purchase. Also my pair came with the tongue creased permanently (hard to explain) causing additional discomfort. You cannot clearly tell in the pictures (I couldn't) so I hope this helps someone.
