Really love how they hug your foot. Ran quiet a few miles in them already. As a heavier dude with knee issues it's kept me on the road more which is why I go Hoka in the first place. Would have rated them a five but I do find rocks get stuck in the front of the shoe more than others I own.

I do not like the flashy colors that Hoka seems to favor. I have noticed over and over again that all black shoes sell out before the flashy colors. I have seen this at sporting goods stores and online because I'm always looking for black Hokas. My options are always limited, and I have to settle for what is available in black because the colors just won't work with my outfits.

I could not truthfully see why these are called "plush". They are okay at best however, other styles fit and wear better. I put 5-7 miles a day on these shoes at work, sometimes more and Bondi's and Arahi's fit and feel better to me.

Love the shoe but color looked a lot lighter on line.

Shoes are very comfortable, however the lacing design is terrible. The tongue folds over on the side and the tabs the laces go through fold over at the top tab.

It was not a comfortable shoe, even with an insole. An it was a bit heavy. I change back to my Nike.

I don't like how the front flap under the shoes laces is difficult to get to lay flat without bunching up. It's a design thing I guess but the design negatively impacts what should be a simple process. Not happy.

relative to the mach 4's, these are average - the lacing design isn't conducive to quick lace up and you cannot leave them laced or use rubber snap ins for slip on wear. meh, not up to the usual hoka snuff, in my humble opinion.

For something so expensive, I'd expect better. I bought Nike shoes for less than half the price that felt amazing. These don't. The tongue of the shoe also feels cheap/hard.

The shoe looked in decent quality however the tongue being made out of a plastic type material is what change my mind not to maintain the sneaker.

They feel good once on but keeping the tongue properly centered, extended and placed when putting them on is problematic and challenging. I wish I had picked another shoe because of this. I have considered returning them.

I've now purchased 6 different pairs of Hoka shoes (wide). I liked the Elevon 2 because it was supposed to be good for bad feet (long story) and I liked the particular look of this shoe. I need a Wide which is not available in this model but I liked it so much I went for it anyway. I received the results I expected, without wide means no go for me so I returned it. If Hoka produced more shoes with the wide option I'd have at least 10 pairs by now. I also purchased the Torrent model also because I liked that particular color combo, etc......needed to return that pair as well. I think I've learned my lesson, don't take a flyer when you know ahead of time it's not going to fit.

I love the color of the shoe and its comfort. They are a bit clunkier and heavier than the other running shoes that I have used in the past for my marathons. I like them but they are not my favorite.

The shoe fit great and the cushioning was great. However, the tongue of the shoe killed it for me. After running in these shoes, my foot would hurt. It didn't matter how tight I tied the shoe, because of the tongue the shoe always felt like it was about to come off of my foot. I had to exchange the shoe for the Bondi 7.

I waited five months before writing a review of this sneaker to make sure about what I like and dislike. I had the original Elevon sneaker before purchasing the Elevon II in April. I loved the attributes of the original Elevon show. Almost a perfect sneaker. The Elevon II is not an improvement from the Elevon. The fit and feel is substantially different. The extra balance and softness and length/width of the heel and sole is very comfortable. However, it quickly deteriorates into a soft mushy feel, leaving you out of balance on anything but flat surfaces. Good for flat surface running and or standing around a lot on a job. Also,, you feel like your feet are much larger and bulkier - fine if you are heavy and use these shoes for road surface training and want pillow cushioning. The tongue and lace system, represented as improvements, are not comfortable at all and are less supportive of a firm "laced up" feel. The original Elevon was much more comfortable and supportive through the mid sole when laced up. I will probably purchase other Hoka sneakers as I believe the quality and fir and technology are excellent. However, I cannot recommend the Elevon II

I love Hoka shoes. Needed to replace my Clifton pair and liked the look of the Elevon. Very comfortable. I do absolutely hate the tongue of the shoe - not very practical. I will use them and when I replace these, while I will stick with Hoka, I will choose a different model.

I love the bouncy, springiness of the shoe. Great cushion even though it's in the "fly" collection. But they run very narrow and have no alternative sizing option for people who have 5 toes.

Comfortable but not durable. Already starting to have damage on the insole from walking all day for about 2 weeks. For this price tag, I would like stuff to last longer than the average cheap shoe.

HOKA is onto something from a product need and consumer expectation standpoint. the shoes are comfortable and they provide both stability, support, and cushioning. Issues -after 6 months of really light wear the sole material has worn really thin to the point where it is becoming. Having owned other HOKA shoes, I expected better quality. This is either production growing pains or faulty product. This is not what we have come to expect from a HOKA shoes.

I'd give this shoe 5 stars, but the way they are laced up is a bad design. Difficult to tighten and loosed the laces because of the pieces the laces run through are really secure or sturdy . If they laced up like a more traditional way I'd give 5*

Cushioning good. They make a lot of noise when walking. Never had that with other products before. Overall however I like the shoe but for the price would probably buy a different model. I usually spend $150 on my athletic shoes. This was the most I have ever spent and can not give it a 5. Asics gels and Brooks are other shoes I wear and like more for less money.
