Not a fan of the tongue in this shoe. Other wise shoes was fine. The new tongues on all the Hoka's seem to be short.

I average 45 miles per week and I need the support. The shoe laces are terrible. I had to change them out because they loosen during the run and have to be tied again.

Great quality shoe. Good support. Heavier than expected. Lots of notice and questions from folks in public!

I want a shoe with so much cushion it feels like running on marshmallows, like the 1st generation Hokas. My last pair of Biondi B's was close. These have a stiffer sole

These are my seventh pair or Hokas, and I am overall happy with them. They have great stability through the mid-foot, and all the comfort I have come to expect from Hoka. Better support through mid-foot than the Hupana flow. My only dislike is the tongue. It is attached with elastic bands on each side, but there are flaps that tend to fold under/over along the length of my foot. I'm able to fix it to be comfortable, but I have to fish my finger down in the shoe when it is halfway on. 4/5 due to that issue.

Very comfortable. I took two tries to get a pair that fit correctly. I ordered the first pair in a size that I thought might actually be too big, but they were too small. The size that fits me is 1/2 to a full size bigger than what I wear in any other shoe. The lacing is challenging, and seems to me to be a solution to a problem that's a mystery to me. It seems very unnecessarily complicated.

Would like to see options of buying replacement or other cooker laces and vibrant colored socks.

This shoe is very comfortable to be on one's feet 12 hours a day! My only complaint is that they just don't last long. After 4 to 6 months they start to wear out.

I've developed planters fasciitis and these are hands down my favorite shoes to help with my foot pain. I've purchased 3 pairs so far and will buy more.

Very comfortable shoe, typically I run in the Bondi, but this shoe seems to feel a little faster. My only complaint at all about the shoe is the lacing system. Not sure why it was designed like this, but with so many moving parts down there, it's easy to get part of the tongue folded under itself.

Very comfortable, but a little difficult to navigate the shoelaces.

First the pros. Fit was true to size, and the shoe fit my narrow foot perfectly. The cushioning was a good blend of soft (70) and springy (30). They were really, really comfortable shoes. But there were cons. The lacing system was difficult to loosen when putting the shoes on, and I just couldn't get used to how wide the sole was behind the heel. I normally strike on the outside of my heel when walking and running (yeah, I'm not an elite runner), and these forced me to strike in the center of my heel. Maybe that's the point, but I couldn't adapt, especially when walking--it was like the shoes snapped my foot down and into alignment instead of letting them roll naturally. It was just weird. No pain--just weird. They were also so large that I was constantly catching the heels on stairs walking down. I'm guessing that's only an issue if you have huge feet like me. Ultimately, I had to return them. Thanks for that policy--I really appreciate it. The service was excellent. I would still recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new running shoe!

Loved the older version, fit just right and nice on my old guy legs. The newer version is more aggressive looking and same good ride but is 1/2 size larger than the previous version (I wear 10, and next time I'd buy a 9 1/2). Also, the tongue inside both shoes are folding over inside the shoe which becomes painful, and then involves too much work to get the tongue flat inside the shoe if one wishes to avoid the binding. I like the shoe and will put up with the tongue, but would rather not if possible.

I was between this pair and the Clifton 7, I wanted an all black shoe and narrowed down to those 2, tbh I was expecting for the Elevon 2 to be more cushion and comfortable since it is a more expensive shoe, but nope, Clifton 7 feels better for less money, at the end I kept the Elevon 2 just because on my eye they look better.

Love the shoe. Changes are for a longer tongue as now it's too short. Also would change the shoe laces. Too much nylon for a secure knott....

Bondi's are my favorites--I really like having an ultra-plush cushion--and the Elevon 2 doesn't have that real pillow feeling as the Bondi does. But they do provide good cushion, good fit, and are very light. My only quibble is that the lace structure is kind of complicated to work with. Maybe I'll get used to it. Overall, I'd recommend these.

Fairly comfortable, just not as comfortable as the Bondi. But they have a far better look to them.

The comfort is good, but given the way the tongue is attached I get a toe caught in it. I have probably 10 pair of HOWA product and never had one designed like this before and from the add you cannot tell it is different . Would have bought a different model had I known. I am always barefoot.

I use this to work out in, not to run. Though I would not categorize this shoe 'plush' as HOKA does, it is slightly springier than the original. It seems to have a wide base which helps in some of my current core exercises.

I used to wear the vanquish and loved it! Was really sad it got discontinued, but the elevon has a similar support and feel which is the only hoka like it! The only reason for 4 stars is I'm a woman and even switching over to men's, the shoe runs narrow. Would LOVE hoka to offer this in a wide!

First- These shoes are fantastic. Smooth, comfortable, look great. The only negative I found during my first long run I noticed the top of the tongue digging into my ankle causing bleeding. Will only wear high socks with these.
