I LOVE my new boots. I live in Issaquah WA. There was so much rain this year. All the trails and hikes are muddy. These boots have kept my feet warm and dry. So comfortable. So glad I made in investment.

I put on my new hikers and headed to the winter trails of the Smokies. I wore wool socks with liners. I had warm feet and no rubbing. My feet stayed dry on wet trails. Toe box great for me. Heel was a bit lose for my narrow foot but not significant. I did insert arch support under the Hoka foam pad. There really isn't arch support otherwise. Love the wide base on these shoes. Laces could be a bit longer. I could see myself walking the neighborhood in these rather than my Hoka runners which I think run a bit smaller than the boot both w-7

I have flat feet and have challenges finding the right walking/ hiking shoe. They are true to fit and very comfortable. I am a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and I have been working in the COVID Unit in the ICU and hit 10,000 - 20,000 steps and they kept me going throughout the 12 hour shift. They are lightweight and I love them.

Was looking for a good long walk shoe for the winter to keep my ankles warm with leggings. I have had reconstruction work on both feet and shoes are a definite "thing" for me. These have turned out to be fantastic. Super comfortable, warm and safe. Love them. Worth the price even though this is a lot more than I would normally pay for a shoe.

I have ankle reconstruction and these are one most comfortable an supportive shoes I wear. I am. Now using as my Gravel Bike Shoes, until I am comfortable clipping in with my gravel shoes They support my Ankle through the most rough terrain.

Love them so far. Very warm and comfy although I haven't tried them on very rough terrain yet, they do well for distance.

I am a 72 year old woman who has been an avid outdoors person for more than 50 years. I also have inherited the "bad feet" genes that run in my family, ie. low volume feet that are bony with little flesh padding them. I have probably purchased 30 different pairs of boots over the years trying to find something that works for me. I don't need technical footwear. I need to protect my overly sprained ankles and feet with supportive, comfortable footwear. For the past 2 years I have only been buying Hoka footwear, both low and high tops. Please DO NOT dumb down your footwear line as so many companies have done over the years. They are by far superior.

Used to do my usual 1-2 mile walk and so far so good. Going on a hike soon and will how it holds up. So far I'm happy with the support it has, not as "soft" as my Bondi 5, but I like the style and light ankle support. I had to size up since I wear thicker socks with these. I ordered 7.5, exchanged it for 8.5 and it's perfect!

Overall the show is great for hiking and trail walks. Toe box is a bit wide but still provides a great overall experience.

The only issue with these are the protruding heal while extremely supportive did not fit my need due to downstairs applications.

I am 68 and have osteoarthritis in a big toe, therefore I need a large toe box and my shoes must feel like comfortable sneakers right out of the box or I can't wear them. These boots are perfect! Waterproof, warm, large toe box, great tread, ankle support, comfortable enough to wear to the grocery or for our mile or two walks each day in snowy northern Ohio. I finally have a boot that I love wearing! (I ordered half size smaller than my normal size because I have a pair of Hoka Bondi 7 and that's what fits best.)

I switched to HOKA BONDI shoes four years ago and LOVE them. Therefore, I gave the hiking boats a try. Fabulous right out of the box: lightweight, very supportive, waterproof, sole grips great on muddy wet trails, which we have a lot here in Portland Oregon!! I'm ecstatic. About HOKA in general, the thick cushion yet strong support seems counterintuitive. Whatever...it works for what ails me, namely, HALLUX RIGIDUX or no big toe joint cartilage anymore with bone spurs so movement through the big toe is painful. The toe box on this boot is spacious. I also insert my orthotics after removing the inner sole. And they look nice. I recently hiked FOUR hours up and down and I could still walk AFTERWARDS!! BTW, I am 70 years on this planet!!

These boots are new, however they are comfortable, supportive and seem to have good traction. Can't wait to take them out on a long messy hike!

I have two pairs of Hoka One One shoes, and they are positively wonderful. I had foot surgery, and these are the only shoes in my closet that I’ve been able to wear post surgery because of the swelling. None of my other lace up shoes open wide enough to get my foot into. So glad for these because I have a dog to walk twice a day.

The most comfortable boots I own. I could walk in them all day from day one. No typical boot break in period. And waterproof! I do wish there were a slightly taller version for deep snow.

I credit Hoka shoes for curing my plantar fasciitis after almost 2 years of trying everything, including orthotics and cortisone injections. These gortex boots are my 5th pair of Hokas and are my absolute favorite.
