I received these boots in the mail on October 15th. They were every bit as comfortable as I had hoped they would be. I set to putting them to the test immediately. I do alot of hiking and off-path mountain climbing, many times through wet areas. The boots do not stay dry, and the toe protector (rubber cap meant to protect the boot material) is peeling off already. They are comfortable but not durable, or meant for serious trekking. Very disappointing as they are not cheap, and I would expect that for over $200 the boot would last at least a year and keep my feet dry. I have had other gortex boots, and been very pleased. With this, I am just bummed.

Terrible terrible terrible! Got these for my daughter for a family hiking trip in Switzerland. After tie first day she had blisters all over her heels snd baby toes. I switched boots with her - she wore my other model of Hokas and I wore these for the second day of hiking. I ended up with blisters all over my heels and was out of commission for two days. I’m so mad! I wish I could get my money back. Ugh!!!

I received these boots (Black) in August of 2021. Out of the box they were extremely comfortable and I was excited to wear them. In less than 2 months from a weekly day hike, the tread on the bottom started falling off. I did not return them right away for the warranty because I couldn't be without hiking boots living my lifestyle. I tried to make them work, tried to gorilla glue them, and it would barely hold for another week or two. Additional consideration would be their severe lack of arch support. I really want to love this shoe but Im very disappointed in the quality and durability from such a renowned brand (not to mention for over 200$)

Your customer service representative needs training with questions regarding hiking shoes with width and size. I hurt my heel due to wrong size. Please train them to avoid future customers hurting themselves.

Bought these boots last winter for comfortable hiking with dry feet. Put them away for the dry months (May through October). Put them on today and got my feet soaked walking through wet grass that wasn't tall enough to reach my ankles. If you're thinking about these boots, STOP!! Price per day of wear definitely not worth it.

My love for hoka went downhill after experiencing the poor construction of these boots. They really need to retool these. They are very comfortable and lightweight but they didn't come close to having longevity. After 4 hikes the sole started peeling off as did the toe rubber on top. Customer service was great for my return but what a disappointment. I am just glad I didn't give away my old boots.

This shoe was not only uncomfortable for me, I got a cramp in my leg from p
trying to get them on and off. I am older and have a terrible back, so maybe it's just me.

Didn't find what made these hiking shoes any different than other brands that have better customer service and price point.

Please make the men's neutral colors of this shoe available to women - brown/moss green/khaki. This is always an issue with HOKA with the men versus women shoes - especially in this style.

Hike 15 miles or so a week on trails (unpaved). I have gone through two pair of Tor Summit Mids,on second pair of Tor Summit Lows, on third pair of Tor Techs. Also wear Stinsons, Challengers and Cliftons. So I know my Hokas. All have been size 6. No problem with online ordering, though some I have bought locally. Ordered Kahas in size 6 and were way too big. Ordered Kahas in 5.5 still too big. Slipped in heals. Materials and construction seemed cheap compared to the Tor Summits and Tor Techs even with a retail price of over $50 more. Comparatively to Summits which were plush and Techs which were balanced, Kahas lack arch support, not as cushiony, no ankle support, slipped in heal, not waterproof even on packed, light not wet, snow. Could not get them tight enough to not slip around my foot. Event (TM) fabric of old Tor models is actually rain, puddle and stream waterproof. Kahas give Gortex a bad rep. Returning size 5.5 after two horribly uncomfortable hikes of four and six miles. I am used to out of the box fit and comfort with Hokas. Very disappointed with the Kahas and disillusioned with Hoka. Will look for different brand for primary hiking boot as I need Vibram soles. Cushioning and soles on Stinsons only last a half a year and I only use them for knock arounds, so Stinson hikers would not last. (Not a heavy weight at 5' 3" 112 pounds.) Please bring back the Tor Summits.
