Customer Reviews Hoka Challenger ATR 5 GTX

I read the reviews before buying had been eyeing this shoes for months before I purchase. Reviews said they were got for standing and flat feet. the first week wearing them my feet lower back and legs hurt one night woke me up both legs were cramping so bad but I keep wearing hoping it got better. The next week I was on vacation so I skipped a week wearing them. The nest week that monday my legs hurt and feet hurts during the rest of the week didn't hurt as bad. My co-worker told me I need to buy some insoles if that's the case I can buy much cheaper shoes and replace the insoles

I returned the challenger atr5 gore tex and got the speedy 4 instead. I am size 7 with hoka but with this challenger, size 7 was not comfortable both in width and lenght.

It is not confortable

I got these shoes to use during runs with heavy rain only. Have used them about 6 times and waterproofing only lasted for 3-4 uses. The last run , my feet became somewhat wet and I convinced myself that the moisture came in from my socks..... This time, there is no doubt, feet and shoes are soaked( and it was a road run, not thru creeks etc) Go with Brooks or Nike - waterproofing lasts much longer!
