I purchased these shoes for the Spartan race which involves a minimum of a 3 mile run on mixed terrain, rope climbing, mud running, climbing other structures, and the Speedgoat 4 was a perfect fit. I love the cushioning for running and speed walking as well.

Hiked the Grand Canyon Bright Angel and felt great the whole way. the rest of my body however...........

My feet are wide and hard to fit, but I have three types of Hokas and love them all. I have two pairs of Hoka Speedgoats for trails, including the water proof high top and two bondis. My husband loves the bondis. I know my sizes and with each new pair, they always fit and keep this 69 year old upright, active, comfortable and stable.

These shoes are awesome for trail running (that's the only activity I have used them for thus far). It gives me better stability when I run on a rock or dirt trail. I don't feel my ankle roll or slip when I wear these to run. Despite being trail shoes, they are not heavy. These shoes are also well padded which I notice has reduced my shin splints.

I have a wide foot and was pleased that the Speedgoat wide fit nicely. And it Is much more supportive on the trails than the Ahari. I like both but I think the Speedgoat works best for me. Very pleased!

I purchased 2 pairs (men's & womans) . We traveled to Acadia National Park in Maine & hiked many trails, w/water, Boulders, sand & dirt. These shoes were the best ever. Never slipped, & so comfortable. I'm going to wear mine for golf shoes now & my husband wore his the entire trip they were so comfortable.

I love this shoe! So comfortable, stable, and great tread. I love that they have a Vibram sole like my snow boots.

Owned Speedgoat 3 before. The changes you have made make these shoes incredible!

Fit and how my feet feels great! The shoes feels lightweight and great recovery. It's very comfortable and lightweight everyday shoes for me. Made me a Hoka fan :)

A friend saw that I wasn't taking care of my feet while hiking and suggested I check you out. First time buying your shoes. Incredible!!! My knee pain was minimized almost instantly!!!

I have not been disappointed with Hoka. I use them for work and different styles for non-working days.

I love these shoes! I use them as everyday and workout shoes. They are so comfortable and I hope you always keep this shoe and style. It's the only one I can wear these days that doesn't hurt my feet.

I have only recently started trail running. I only trail run once a week on a 2.5 mile stretch. The run includes some pretty good hills, along with the dirt, rocks and gravel you would expect. With the Goat, my footing is secure and cushioned. The tongue on the shoe stays in place (a big deal for me) and unlike other HOKAs, the laces are not too long and stay tied. The shoe does run big and HOKA sizing continues to be off. HOKA recommended a size 8. I usually wear a size 7.5 (except in racing shoes). All of my HOKAs are size 7. If I did more trail running, I'd get a second pair.

I'm just breaking them in but the comfort cushioning is amazing and I'm happy already they also look great.

I normally wear Nikes for road running, and I typically can't go more than 3 miles without feeling strain in my feet and joints. With the Hokas, I just ran 7 miles without a hint of painand there's no residual soreness. The shoes made all the difference, and I'm never going back!

I bought these shoes for an upcoming hike, giving myself time to break them in. They are so comfy right out of the box--I wonder if it is even necessary! I will shop Hoka for all my athletic needs in going forward. Love these shoes! p.s. I am typically a true 9, with a narrow foot. The Speedgoat fits as expected in length, and feels like it has an average, possibly lending to the narrow side, fit in width. I can wear thick or thin socks comfortably and I don't feel like my foot is sliding all around in the toe area. Again, love them.

Thank you, thank you for making W widths that are actually wide. The toe box on the W Speedgoat and the Bondi are both wide enough to fit my feet well AND allow for movement/swelling while also feel super stable on my feet. I've worn W widths in many different shoes, and these are by far the best for my feet. The Speedgoat has a super grippy sole and is so lightweight--these are going to be perfect for trail runs, day hikes, and backpacking trips. THANK YOU for making wide widths that fit so well!

Love the way these shoes grip the terrain, light and comfortable, no rubbing or chaffing even brand new

I walk the dog in rocky areas and over uneven terrain. Awesome shoe, very stable.
