I love the speedgoat 2 gtx mid. I hope they keep making new ones. I've owned 2 pairs over the years.

When the temperature drops below 30 I wear my GTX. Usually, I don't tie the laces but it doesn't affect the temperature of my feet. When my feet are cold, the rest of me it's very uncomfortable, but when I wear these GTX, I am warm from head to toe.

I have screws in my left ankle and post traumatic stress arthritis. I need a shoe with good ankle support and lots of strength and cushioning in the sole. This shoe fits the bill. It is very comfortable and gives me the support and cushioning I need. My foot doctor recommends Hokas.

I've owned a plethora of hiking boots from Oboz, Merrell, Solomon, etc. over the years and these are by far the absolute best hiking boots I've ever worn. My husband and I ruck so carrying that weighted pack adds more stress on the lower half and with these, I have no fatigue or aches at all. They are crazy awesome. I will probably never get another pair after these. Plus! My first time in them was in the snow and my feet stayed warm and dry. Just another important added bonus since they are Gortex.

Okay, so I have been on a quest for the perfect shoe for what feels like an eternity. my search has ended since discovering this shoe. I wanted trail runner and a hiking shoe to have a baby and that's what this shoe is. It's light weight, with a neutral feel, and midsole cushion like a trail runner while also having the ankle stability and waterproof of a hiking boot. I'm an avid year round hiker (3-5 days /week)and have always hiked in running shoes because I hate how heavy hiking boots are. In the summer trail running shoes are preferred for the light weight and breathability, but in the winter and spring I need something that can be more rugged but again, without the weight- these are that shoe. I've used these several times now in the mud, snow, and ice- we've just got our first snow for the season in Colorado- they work great with both spikes and gators. The shoes fit as described. I have an extremely narrow heel so I replace the inserts with custom insoles.

Bought my 73 year old mother a pair because she loves hiking. She was amazed by the feel and comfort of these boots.

So comfy, I did a small 5 mile hike and so far it's been super wearing them

Great hiking boots

These shoes worked well while I was teaching a motorcycle class and standing for most of the day on cement. My plantar faciatis did not bother me at all. Great Shoe.

Loved these shoes. First time I wore them was on a 6 day backpacking trek. They held up great in the rain and snow, we're super light and comfy. Didn't have to break them in before hand!

Fit tight as they should and good ankle support

Very supportive for someone (me) who has absurdly high arches. Lightweight, but with good tread for hiking steep terrain. I need a mid-rise boot for my high arches, so these are more comfortable for hours of walking/working than my low-rise Hoka's.

I stumbled across HOKA's last fall when I needed new shoes. I've got chronic pain in my foot from an old break years ago, and walking for more than an hour hurt. I bought the SPEEDGOAT 4s and they've been life-changing. In the HOKA's my foot feels like it's in a pillow and I experience no pain, even walking or hiking for hours. I decided to buy the mid Gore-Tex 2 hikers as the shoes were so amazing. I've been able to hike on rough mountainous and coastal terrain all day and experience no pain during or after. They're also incredibly light, unlike other hiking boots that are stiff and heavy. There is no "break-in" period needed for these hikers. I can't recommend them enough. I'll never buy anything other than HOKA's now.

I have horrible feet, plain and simple. I bought these and have used them on one two mile hike to see how they worked. Almost no pain after! And for me, that is amazing! I can't recommend them enough!

They just feel great in your feet

these are a perfect pair. I have never owned hiking boots before, but these answered all my needs. Light but well-support, firm grip, ankle support. fast dry. There were a couple times my foot got soaked wet but the inside didn't feel like they carry water. I hike with confident and would definitely buy them again.

These are fantastic for hiking or just out in the weather. The cushion inside and shape of the sole are energizing for legs and feet! I'll never by anything else!

These boots are light supportive and comfortable to hike up trails with challenging terrain. My one weak ankle is very secure and even when hiking in wet weather my feet remained dry. I will purchase these again.

I had Achilles reconstruction surgery in 2019. This shoe allows me to walk trails with comfort and support.

I have foot issues so appreciate the additional cushion and ankle support
