I experience a lot of foot/heel pain when I am on my feet for long periods of time. These shoes make it so much more comfortable and I can stand or walk for longer periods of time before my feet and heels start to hurt.

Returned these shoes because they were not supportive enough. I usually wear Asics Gel Kayanos or Mizuno Wave Inspires for reference. My feet aren't particularly wide, but I bought the wide and regular width in these anyway. The wide was a tad too wide, especially in the heel, and the regular a tad too narrow. Will try the Gaviota when better colors come back in stock.

I have had about 5-6 pairs of Hokas--Arahis and several other styles! I am open to many variations in colors and have always found a pair in the style that works best for me. I have loved the different color schemes until now. However, these colors are horrible-the pinky/peach and the blueish/green are just that, not really true colors and have a vomit-like tinge to them. It's hard to get excited to put on the shoes I wear every day if I can't stand to look at them! I even went back to purchase the Arahi 3's just because these are so hard to look at but there are none in my size. I keep putting off purchasing in hopes that a new color pops up.

I normally wear the Gaviota 2, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Unfortunately, they are out of stock everywhere in Wide (with the exception of one unbearable color scheme). I have big toe issues and the Gaviota gave my walking life back to me. I live in them because they are so darn comfortable and have spoiled my feet for other shoes. So the Arahi was the only other Hoka option with stability feature. They are not as cushy and cloud-like as the Gaviota's but they do limit the discomfort in my big toes and the stability feature seems to be comparable. After contacting Hoka it doesn't appear the Gaviota in wide will be available anytime soon.

I bought these in July and about a month ago I had to stop wearing them because a plastic part of the heel broke through the fabric and gave me blisters at work. I am a nurse, I work long hours on my feet and I am also active on my days off. I bought these shoes with high hopes they would last me more than 6 months considering the strong reviews I have heard about hokas comfortability and quality. I am disappointed that I will already have to be buying new shoes and can no longer wear these shoes.

I really liked this shoe....alas, it was too narrow for my wide feet. I have custom orthotics and once installed it made the shoe too tight, even in the wide size. I am going back to Brooks.

I have a wide foot but these shoes were really too wide even for me. Unfortunately, I have to send them back.

I became a big fan of Arahi 3, so excited when the next version was released earlier this year. The color choices and the slightly different feel of the shoe were disappointing - lower and or less arch support and wider, larger fit. Luckily, Hoka just came out with a couple more decent color choices, and since I had no luck making the Gaviota (their only other stability option!) work for me (super painful heel!) I gave the Arahi 4 a second chance. This time I added an insole to absorb some of the extra width/length and provide better arch support, and I am glad to report these tweeks made all the difference. I'd be remiss to not alert potential customers that if you order from Hoka, be prepared for excessive hold times, no follow-through and poor service. I've never had a good experience ordering directly from Hoka, even pre-pandemic. Great shoes, which I will forever buy elsewhere!

These shoes are SO comfortable!!!! However they STAIN so easily. I have had mine for 2 months and haven’t worn too much but they are like grey/black in lots of areas. Also some of the front part is breaking off...

This shoe is very comfortable. However, the first pair I ordered was defective. There was a flap on the inside front of the shoe that was separated from the shoe (it's supposed to stay connected / glued on). It kept rubbing my toe and caused a blister (not to mention it was annoying) and that was just from walking in the shoes. I returned them and got another pair of the exact same shoe because again, the shoe is comfortable, and I was hoping it was just an issue with that one pair. This pair was fine until about a week into walking in them and the same thing happened to the other pair of shoes, the flaps inside by the toe came loose. I don't know why they don't fix this issue but I will not be buying these shoes again and it's a shame because they are actually comfortable... or they would be if they weren't literally falling apart out of the box.

These are not my favorite Hoka One's by any means. Previously I've had Bondi 6s. These are somewhat wider - which is why I buy I need wide sneaker with good support so my metarsalagia does not return and big toe arthritis fits....I purchased during the COVID-19 outbreak and the selection was much less than usual and I didn't have the energy to return and find something else. I do feel the width is wider than Bondi and also is far less padded and not nearly as comfortable - almost like a stripped down version. Not happy with them but pretty much stuck now...plus only the white color was available and def shows dirt on top tips from doing planks ondi 6

These shoes have a very soft and gooey sole. The shoe is also too deep for an average foot. Had to send back.

The quality of this version of Hoka One One Arahi is nothing like that of the Arahi 2. It's supposed to be a stability shoe for over pronators but they have cut way down on that factor, and it also has less support. It feels soft and squishy with not support. It's very disappointing. I hope Hoka One One some days goes back to the Arahi 2 design.

I bought these shoes on my doctor’s recommendation when I was transitioning out of a boot following a broken foot. These shoes are comfortable and stable with good arch support. I still wear them to cut the grass and work in the yard. They’re wider than I like so they feel a little bit boat like but I have narrow feet so I expected that.

These Hoka’s are the most amazing and fantastic shoes I have ever owned. I had ankle surgery and they are so supportive. My online ankle support group says their surgeons love Hoka’s. One of the best purchases of my life!

My go-to running shoe. I am a plus-size runner, I overpronate, and I’ve had plantar fasciitis, broken feet, etc. These are perfection. They don’t last long, but it’s fine because they work so well.

Great running shoe. Nice support and very good room in the toe box. They do wear out fast, though.
