I had hopes that these shoes would make walking all day more bearable. I am not finding them to be as good as the other brands i have purchased. I guess they are a good enough shoe, just not what i had hoped for.

I tried it on and immediately knew the tow box was too narrow. The look was great and the length was right but it's designed for someone with a straight, narrow foot.

I had high hopes for these shoes, but they aren't my favorite. I feel like my foot is just sliding around in them, and I ordered the size I usually wear. Also, I have a bad ankle and they do not feel stable. I constantly feel like I'm going to roll my ankle. I definitely don't think these shoes are for me.

This style Hoka Arahi 4 huge, wide and cheap feeling with cushioning. Forefoot round/wide. I’ve worn better Hoka styles better fit.
I'd also recommend:

I wanted to LOVE these so badly! I ordered the nimbus cloud / lunar rock colorway and they are very attractive. A bit bulky for my liking, but I would've been ok with that if everything else was perfect. I'm typically a 6.5 in normal shoes and 7 in sneakers. I would've needed to exchange for a 6. Very lightweight. I require a lot of support, stability and arch support. The base of the shoe is great, but the cushioning is severely lacking. The arch support is basically zero. I purchased the On Cloudflyer instead and they're better by a landslide.

I really wanted to love this shoe. With flat feet, pronation, and a fractured heel bone this seemed like the perfect shoe for me. It wasn't. I gave it a fair shot, two 3 mile runs on a treadmill and HIIT workouts. The shoe rubbed my heel but if I tied it tighter it was really uncomfortable. The inner part that is by the arch area rubbed as well and felt like by feet were going to roll out. My feet killed after a HIIT workout. I returned the shoe. For reference I usually wear the New Balance Vongo Fresh Foam and have no problems.

I wish I had waited until after the holidays to purchase these as I didn't have have time to wear them enough to know how they felt before my return date expiration. I ended up wearing them about 6 times and found myself experiencing plantar fasciitis of my left foot and the aggravation of the bunion on my right foot.

I thought these were great at first, but now 5 months of having them and only wearing them 2 days a week, they are falling apart. I can no longer even wear them. They cost way too much money to not last longer than 5 months only wearing twice a week.

I have been running distance for the past 15 years and have been loyal to a specific running shoe for almost as long. But when a friend of mine who is an avid runner suggested I try a pair of Hokas I gave it a shot to see what all the hype is about. I went to a running store to confirm the best model for me (heavy-footed overpronator) and walked out with a pair of Arahi 4s. I wish I hadn't forced myself to try and like them for over 30 days ... they gave me terrible blisters on the inner and outer arches of my feet every time I wore them (almost as if the insole is too narrow, and I do not have wide feet at all). I even bought thicker socks to try and later downgraded them to my shoes for walking the dog and the blisters and discomfort continued. I also felt more flat-footed, as if there was no bounce each time my feet hit the pavement. These are getting donated back to the running store and I'm switching back to my old faithful (Brooks Adrenaline and/or Ghost).

I love Hokas, this was my third pair - I always treat myself to a new pair when I decide to run a 1/2 marathon. This time, because of COVID, I knew there wouldn't be an organized run but just neighborhood jobs to keep me in shape. That said, I've run much fewer miles on this pair. However, about 2mis after purchasing the back heel liner broke thru the fabric, rubbing my heel and ankle and caused a lot of pain. Because it's so annoying to deal with returns, I tried taping the shoe and bandaging my foot. No luck, needless to say this pair caused a lot of discomfort & unfortunately now I'll have to find a new brand I can trust.

I love the Gaviota 2. This shoe felt too loose and not enough support. I returned them.

This is a very noisy shoe when I added the custom orthotics. I wore them a couple of times and got pain on the side of my right foot. I didn't return them since i wore them 4 times. I'm out $129 bux. I will never buy Hoka again!

I like these shoes a lot, but mine appear to have been worn daily for years instead of a few times a week (at most) for a few months. When I tried to return/exchange them I was informed that I'd have to pay return shipping to even have them assessed by Hoka. These shoes are too expensive to fall apart so soon and require the customer to pay shipping with the hope that a return would be approved. I won't be a return customer.

I had such hope for this sneaker. Alas - there was no cushioning what so ever, so had to send it back. Truly - was like walking on planks.

These shoes (black) were very unattractive in person, they look like stability shoes, not cute running shoes. Not worth the price tag.

I bought my usual size 9's and they're ALMOST a full size too big!
I say "almost" because they LOOKED like they were JUST over a half size too big, which is why I had to go a FULL size smaller! Just a half size smaller would still have been too big!
I haven't gotten my exchange back yet to be able to know for sure.
Also, while their Customer Service Reps are nice, they don't have a lot of helpful options to offer when needing to do ANYTHING!!
I'm wondering how my exchange is going to go.
We shall see!

These rubbed a blister immediately. Huge toe box and then a narrow foot area. A heavy bulky shoe. Way too much money for the way they felt on my flat feet and blisters they caused. They are ugly shoes too. No good colors in the Arahia style .They cost so much and rub blisters so quickly.

Unfortunately these shoes fell apart after only 5 weeks of running about 40 miles a week. I have been wearing Hoka for about 2 years and have not had this issue before. I have been traveling this last month or I would have tried to return them...Not sure I will buy Hoka again.
