I liked the fitting, they feel sturdy. The material used on the top is a very thin fabric, I am not sure if they will last.

They are too big.

Reviews I read said this shoe runs wide. I normally take a wide size, but I went with regular, and it rubbed on my pinky toe as soon as I put it on. The wide might have worked, don't know. I returned this shoe because there's another style, the Clifton 7 wide, that does fit me, so I ordered another pair of those.

This is my third pair of Hokes. I initially switched from 7 years of Nike Lunarglides to a pair of Arahi 2's, and they were great. I then tried the Gaviata 2, and they were also amazing. These WRECKED my feet. I don't know what the issue is, but both my feet ached while and even after wearing these. I am switching back to the Gaviota 2.

Oh how I wanted to love these shoes. They had good stability,amazing cushion and the heel loops to get them on worked like a charm. They are a bit narrower than other HOKAs I have worn. However, my body was just not happy with them. They were a bit too stiff for me and bothered the joint of my big toe. I have also always worn running shoes with an 8mm drop and these are harder to find. I was hoping my body would not mind the 5 mm drop, but after running in them for about a month, I am still having pain. I give them a 3 star because I think they are great shoes for the right person. I just don't happen to be that person.

I tried two different standard width Hoka's and both were too narrow in the ball of the foot - causing my foot to push out the fabric on the sides and the bottom to push up unconformably on both sides of the ball of my foot. I always wear standard width - but will try wide in these next.

These shoes run really big. I wear a 7. Based on other reviews, I ordered a 6.5. They are still huge. A full 1.5" between my toe and the end of the shoe! I bought them for the arch support and can't really comment on that. Because they are so big, I can't benefit from any arch support. Can't decide if I like them enough to return them and order a half size down. Might try a different shoe altogether.

I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 narrow and tried the 10.5 in regular width but it was too wide and the arch support wasn’t as good as brooks. A lot of cushion but will return and go back to brooks.
