Super comfortable!! My sister got the originals and went to the river and said she got blisters. So I got these instead it is a 50$ difference in price but worth it! The padding around the straps makes it So no blisters! I want to get them In more colors!!

I love that these have that extra padding - they are so dang comfy! I say if you want your feets to breathe and have zero rubbing, get these babies.

My daughter bought these and I tried hers on and immediately fell in love with them. I ordered 2 pair for myself and haven't taken them off since they arrived. So-o-o-o-o comfortable.

I'm doing a lot of walking for exercise under the current circumstances, usually 3 or 4 miles a day. Most days it's on sidewalks and paved shared paths, but sometimes on crushed shells, packed sand and other surfaces. These sandals work very well for all of my daily walking, and they look really good as well. The wide selection of colors was a plus, and I had a hard time picking just 2. I had never worn this style before, but I chose the same size as the Tirras that I bought last year, and the Universal Trails in the same size fit perfectly.

Love these! They are so comfortable and I love the aesthetic! I get compliments every time I wear them and they are the only shoe I want to wear now!! I've gotten them as gifts for so many of my friends

I walk everyday and during the summer I prefer a sandal rather that a tennis/walking shoe. I choose the Teva universal and love it.

After toe surgery, I needed something with open toes. These shoes fit the need.

The straps are wider than I thought and makes the shoe more sporty than I would like. Also felt a bit large

This sandal was comfortable to walk in and the arch support was good. Unfortunately, the sandal was too wide for my feet, despite the ability to pull the straps tighter. When the strap was tight enough, there was no more velcro for it to attach to and the strap at the ankle hit the floor. Unfortunately, these are being returned.

It is still the most comfortable shoe that I own.

I have no idea why, but I find my Original Tevas to be more comfortable than these. I appreciate the padding especially around the back of my ankle. The padding on the front straps of the sandals I find to be slightly uncomfortable because I have to loosen them so my foot can fit but then there is a gap in the padding. I have more success hiking in terms of grip and all day comfort in my original Tevas. Also, my feet sweat and it has a loud Donald Duck sounding quack when I walk and my foot slides around in the sandal, I did not experience this with the Original Tevas.

The Universal Trail are fairly comfortable but I miss the feel of the inner soul of my previous Tevas , Terra F1 5 Universal, which molded more to my toes. I would have purchased another pair of them but the front strap on both sandals split after not very much wear. These new sandals have a waffle texture which is not all that comfortable on the bottom of my feet.

Love these, So. comfortable. Can’t see hiking in them but great for walking, I got the black and it’s not stylish like other Tevas but makes up for it in comfort

I like the feel of the sandal. It is comfortable and supportive. I like the extra padding by the pinky toe. I wish it came in a plain tan, brown or beige color. I opted for the gray/green since it was the most neutral.

I got these instead of the classic universals (which I LOVE) bc I wanted something more sturdy for hiking and walking around all day as well as water friendly for my trip to Thailand. Comfort level of these is 10/10 but appearance is slightly orthopedic with the black padding under the straps being so visible. They're not the cutest, definitely more of a casual/rugged look, but I know I'll value the comfort of these over appearance.

Just took these sanders to the Canary Islands for 3 weeks and they were great. Just a few issues.. when your feet sweat your foot really slides around so you must strap on tight, otherwise they were awsome

I use them everyday in warm weather no matter whee I'm headed. Like my new ones very much, they are comfortable, kind of cushy. The only thing I would change would be the white in the sole, using for trail hiking it won't be white for long.

My only complaint is the length of the front closure. It's very long and I had to cut the burgundy part and it is still at the ground. I checked to see if I ordered wide width and it doesn't say they are.

These seem like fine shoes, but I did return them in favor of the Hurricanes. I thought the Hurricanes were more stylish (a subjective opinion for sure), and the sole of this shoe is bumpy and felt ticklish on my feet. In contrast, the sole of the Hurricane is smoother/spongier and felt far more comfortable.

I bought the universal 5 or 6 years ago and they are still going strong. Decided to get a second pair. The texture of the foot bed is different but nice and comfortable. My only complaint is that they run big. The footbed runs big and I have the velcro as tight as possible so if it stretches at all that will be too big as well. I should have returned for a smaller size but had ordered them for a trip so just decided to suck it up. . All in all, solid shoe.

Good fit. A little worried about the review that said the heel strap blew out, but only time will tell on that. I love the addition of the neoprene under the straps/strap intersections--I was getting blisters from the original universal that doesn't have that.

So far so good. Easy to get on and off. Good fit. No blisters after a week. Unusual texture to the foot bed. Will take getting used to. I guess it's so your foot won't be sliding all around when you are hiking over rough terrain.

the fit is amazing, the comfort unsurpassed, I even dig the classic geeky chunky look. it's super light weight. the very best thing about this sandal, and the reason I bought it, is the traction on rocky, rolly, up-and-down hills - no more skidding and slipping and sliding - it's like a tractor! I haven't landed on my bum once. the only problem is that for some reason I get stinky feet with it, and I don't get that with my other sandals. perhaps it's related to how cushy the cushion is? I do need to scrub the footbed down semi-regularly. almost perfect, thank you Teva!
