I was told over the phone by a rep that these boots would have the same sole as the sandals which isn't true. The sandals never leave my feet hurting but I hurt so bad after wearing these one time that I will never wear them again.

These seemed comfortable walking around my house for the break-in period, but on the first hike out in the world, they rubbed my ankles raw after about a mile. They ended up in the donation pile after that one outing. It's a shame, since it's so hard to find hiking boots that aren't that horrendous mud-brown color.

There are weird hard bumps in this boot under the balls of my feet. It’s literally the only flaw in this boot and unfortunately, I can already tell they will give me blisters. The shoe looks great, is so light on my feet and very cushioned. However the hard bumps make it a dealbreaker for me. For $175 I expected better. I really wanted to like these. Ugh.

These are such attractive shoes. The blue is *chefs kiss*. Unfortunately they didn't fit at all. So I'm a 7.5 in tevas hurricane sandals. I ordered an 8 with the boot. The length was fine but the width was a little too tight. I have wider feet for a lady fyi. But the reason I had to return was the seam on the upper part of the foot, where the toe piece connects to the mid area. It was painfully digging into my foot just walking around my house. Really bummed bc these shoes are SO beautiful =(

I really wanted to like this shoes. I wore them for a couple days to get them ready for a hike. I ended up doing a 13 mile hike that weekend and they were not comfortable. After mile 4, my feet were hurting and my ankles were not being supported by the shoe.

Usually wear 8 in boots so ordered 8.5 due to previous comments Fit was good. Comfortable toe and heel. However, ankle collar was stiff & very bulky so not sure how that would feel on long walks/hikes. Plus boot VERY difficult to get on and off. Decided to look for hiking shoe instead. Returned these.

DID NOT FIT TRUE TO SIZE FOR ME! I got them in my normal size, 11 and it was way too small in the toe. Had to return them. The shoe looked nice and I’m sure is great when you find correct size.

I wish I could return these but my tennis shoes were totally shot and I need something to wear. These feel oddly wide (I purchased 2 other pairs at the same time - boots and sandals - and both were really narrow, so narrow I'm returning them both) and there's an odd bump under the ball of my foot. Most uncomfortable tennis shoes I've ever owned. Disappointed for how expensive they were.

These were the lightest hiking boots I've ever worn with a good sized toe box. Unfortunately the innersole is hard and the eyelet laces impossible to work with. So cute, but returned. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9. The 8 1/2 was a good fit.

I ordered these because I was looking for hiking boots and I love my other Teva shoes, but these were not for me. I have a weak ankle from an old injury, so I like the ankle support taller hiking boots offer, but the materials in this boot did not offer the ankle stability I need. I'm used to leather hiking boots, which are much stiffer, so these were returned.

This was the stiffest boot I have ever felt! I got this for 50% off and it's not even worth that price, I returned instantly. Teva should stick to sandals.

I wanted to love these as much as I love the Teva sandals but NO! THey are so hard to lace up it's crazy. They hit right at the ankle bone instead of over the top or under. They are very wide & they ball of my feet ache after wearing them. Not sure what to do after apending SO much $$ on them.

My old Teva hiking boots are shot so I ordered these. They are SO cute, but unfortunately the sole hit weirdly on the ball of my big toe and it was very uncomfortable. I’m so sad because I love my old tevas and love the way these look, but my feet disagreed. Will keep looking, returning these.

This Grandview hiker is junk. I had my pair just shy of one year and the bottom tread lugs separated from the sole. That's right - they are two different materials, not a solid piece of poly or rubber. The stitching on the side also gave out. I contacted Teva, sent the boots in and got rejected because their manufacturing date was prior to my purchase date. Stand behind your products, Teva, you're better than this.

The boots did not suit my foot -- the sole was flat and I need some support, i.e. a heel and an arch. Plus it was too wide at the toes.

Teva has dropped the ball on these hiking boots vs older Teva hiking boots. These are no support and would be pitiful for a long hard hike. Teva why change great to yuck for hiking??? Improve!

Compared to all my past Teva hiking boots - that I love love - these are worthless. No real support for hiking and the footbed is awful with little balls underneath. Why change great?? Not sure that answer but my older Teva’s a million times better.

I HATE these boots with a passion! I really wasted my money on these. I just took them to the local thrift store - hopefully they will fit somebody else. I bought them based on rave reviews here on Zappos and recommendations from a friend who wears Hoka tennis shoes. I wear an 8 or 38Euro in most shoes. I have a moderately wide forefoot and narrow heels. I don't require excessive arch supports or orthotics, although I do need a decent insole with arch support. And I need a gusseted tongue to keep sand and pebbles out of my shoes since I live in the desert.
My first try was the Hoka Kaha high boot. It felt way too big, so I tried a smaller size. The smaller size seemed to fit as I wore them in the house. Then I went for a walk on a desert trail - not too strenuous but a few small hills. The boots felt a little loose and the arch support felt too much, but I thought I would get used to them. I tried them again with larger socks which were better, but the boot made a slapping sound as I walked along. Eventually I realized it was the insole slapping against the sole of my foot, but for a long time, I thought it was the boot! Anyway, the heel cup didn't hold my foot and it slid around. I tied the laces tighter but that made the tops of my feet hurt really bad. I spent about $200 on these boots, so I was determined to make them work. I tried four different insoles and at least six different pairs of socks, but these boots just don't fit and the arch support is painful in the right boot. I ended up limping back to my car the last two times, so I realized I wasted my money and time on these.
I used to wear Keen Targhees, but they "improved" them and now they are terrible. I tried many other major brands with no luck. Eventually, I tried Oboz Sawtooth II B-Dry and they are keepers. They fit, give good support, and are more affordable than Hoka. The Teva Sugar Pine and Asolo Stynger were also comfortable but I opted for the Oboz because they felt the best.
