Nicely made sandals, but very hard on the feet. I like a more cushiony shoe. These will be great for kayaking, but I won't be using them for long walks.

I wear this sandal all day most days. Yes, even in winter when at home by myself I pop on a a pair of socks and continue.
However I wish it still had the quick release clip instead of having to wear out the velcro and mess around with resetting it every time
This will reduce the longevity of the product as velcro wears out.
Sadly I ordered the wrong size - my fault - but given that it cost me $75 both ways to return and replace I am stuck it seems. Should have been a six.
any chance of finding a lower postage price?

I bought these as an upgrade from my Hurricanes as they had the extra padding on the straps which make them super comfy.
I have pretty average sized feet, but when I went to tighten the straps down for a more aggressive fit for walking into water, over rocks, etc, I couldn't get them tight enough. I also had so much excess strap hanging over the shoe that I was considering cutting some of it so it wouldn't drag on the ground.

This is the second pair of Terras I have had. Both are very supportive to my arch. Unfortunately, they are a little clunky and so I don't wear them as often as I would if they were a little more stylish. And I have begun to notice that my back bothers me when I wear them.

Unfortunately, the shoes were quite bulky and heavy and made my size 9 feet look even bigger. Will be returning.

These sandals have good arch support and the soles are springy, which I like a lot. They were comfy right out of the box. However, it wasn't till my second day wearing them that I realized that they're rubbing till they cut my feet. The plastic parts under the upper foot strap rub a lot, and I keep trying to find a way to add some cushion to protect me there. It's too late to return them now that I've worn them, and they're almost really great active sandals. I'm hoping I can find a way to make them work that isn't awkward-looking.

I miss the leather sandals I have been wearing for many years. New isn't always better and in this case not at all. I don't like the fabric, too stiff, too hot, not at all the same look or comfortable feel of the original leather I love.

I returned this sandal after wearing it for a couple of hours in the house. I have a medium width foot but the footbed was so wide that when I tightened the straps, they hung over the outsides of my foot. I compared another pair of Teva's with this pair and there is definitely a width difference. The heel guard also rubbed my Achilles area and was uncomfortable. Exchanged them for a different style...fingers crossed! Good thing: loved the color and pattern of this hiking sandal

I owned Tevas in the past. They lasted forever and were super comfortable. I still have them. This pair was uncomfortable and the materials were so hard they blistered my feet. I am returning them.

I usually love Texas and get years of wear out of them. They have always been my “go-to” shoes for summer. These failed exactly one year and two months after buying them. The toe straps ripped (on both sandals) right out of the shoe bed. They either don’t make Tevas the way they used to or I had a faulty pair.

This is my first trip post covid and these Tevas are tearing up my feet so bad. The back side straps anchor too far in and the inside of my heel / arch is rubbing up big translucent blisters after just the first couple days. I wish I'd bright any other shoe. Every design iteration gets worse; I'm done with Tevas. Strongly don't recommend.

Arch too high. Sole too thick in heel. Disappointed. Also disappointed in customer service whom I called TWICE for advise and to answer my questions, and the people were not knowledgeable. What's happened to the friendly, bubbly customer service Zappos used to have????

My former pair of universal sandals were amazing and I've worn them for 10 years. The soles finally started to come apart at the seams, so I had to buy new ones I was so looking forward to a new pair!
These are not the same sandals. The cushions are stiff and too narrow, and the soles are not as comfortable without the patterned lines.

The instep straps were uncomfortable, rubbed and caused blisters. Otherwise seemed like a great product for someone with a different foot shape.

Unfortunately I have had to send both pairs back. The first pair I just did short desert hikes/runs and each time my ankle bone was rubbed raw. I decided maybe it was just a manufacture problem in that sandal, but alas the second pair did the same thing...just walking around the house. They were great in that I could not feel the stones while hiking, felt really sturdy, just didn't work for me.

I was excited to get a new pair of terra fis. I wore them for the first time to walk my little rescue dog in tall grass which was soaked with dew.
The footbed became very slippery and I could hardly make it home because my feet were sliding all over in the sandal. They almost felt like they had a lubricating gel on them. By the time I got home, the footbed had dried and they were good again. I can't wear these safely.

I was so loyal to my first pair of tevas, but I had to retire them because I had worn the bottoms down. They never gave me any problems, were so comfortable, and great for hiking. When getting these sandals, I expected the same. When I got my first blisters on the back of my ankles, I thought it was just because they were new, the blackstrap could also be loosened a bit, and I just needed to break them in. But after 7 MONTHS later of wearing them daily and on some short hikes, they gave me the same blisters on a 6 mile flat walk. I was truly heartbroken and disappointed since I literally wear my tevas on the daily and was so loyal to my first pair. Cushioning between foot and straps of the shoe need to be thicker like old pairs. Sandals also sometimes have a tendency of pinching heel were the strap and sole of shoe meet. As of sizing, adjustable back strap makes it easy to position where your foot will fit in shoe, which I appreciated because I'm typically a smaller side of a 7, so 6 worked pretty well for me. Straps don't overflow if you need a tighter fit since my feet are narrow too. But can't ignore the lack of comfort on straps and the horrible blisters I got.

What I liked: good arch support
What I didn’t like: very clunky, even with the correct size the shoes made my feet look enormous. Will be returning them.

Although these sandals are comfortable, there is so much extra padding which looks unattractive and shows when looking at the sandals.

I've loved and worn Tevas for over 20 years, but didn't like these at all. The extra padding on the straps punches and rubs. I prefer this sole, but I'll get a pair of Hurricanes instead.

I've had these sandals for around 4/5 months now wearing them and the part where the strap goes in around the inside of my foot (near the toes) is completely separated and FILLS with any kind of dirt or sand when I wear them out, this also makes them smell quite bad because they're always very dirty. Will be buying a different shoe :/

I was so excited to find hiking sandals that would solve my toe-box issue, and I already loved Teva for flipflops, so I bought a pair for a 2 week hike in the Shawnee Natl Forest. Wore them around the house and on a 6-mile walk in the woods to make sure everything would be ok. No problems. But within a day of starting my hike, I had a huge blister on my left foot. The next day, the right foot. It was like the skin on the ball of the foot was being pushed toward my toes. I tried adjusting the straps and added a second pair of wool socks. No help. I suffered for several more days then finally switched to my camp shoes - Crocs! - to finish the hike. It was hugely disappointing and really ruined what would have otherwise been a relatively easy hike in gorgeous weather. I'd like to get a refund on these sandals as I wouldn't dare wear them again on a long hike.
