Poor SupportGreat Support
Poor fit. Area at inside of right ankle was stiff and irritated my ankle. Couldn't wear for long. Bad manufacture/quality control. Great service with Zappos though.

If you like the Langdon sandal, then you will definitely not like the Terra F1. Whereas the Langdon has only three(3) transition points between connectors/fabrics on the inside of the sandal, the Terra F1 has ten(10). The footbed of the Terra is also sculpted and less comfortable than the Langdon.
Overall, I would say the Tera F1 was over engineered to the extreme and everything you love about the Langdon you will dislike about the Terra F1.

I have worn Teva sandals for decades for routine day-to-day wear as long as there is not snow on the ground and as my footwear of choice for river running. While trying to secure my raft on the Salmon River a couple of weeks ago the strap that secures the ankle strap to the sole detached from the sole. I was fortunate to not suffer significant injury as I was moving on the rocky shore. But it gets worse. I've tried for two days to submit a warranty claim for these sandals that failed less than six months after they were purchased. The warranty web page is non-sensical, asking in the shipping information the same info that is entered initially. I then hit the submit button and get a page with two words: block response. Even worse is the poor customer service. A phone call was of no help. The chat option is a waste of time, trying its best to stop customers from communicating with a real person. Once a real person is reached, no viable help is provided (as for the phone call). This pair of Tevas is going into the trash and it will be the last purchase I make from Teva after being a customer for decades.

Older Teva models fit fine, no rubs. This new Teva now has an exposed strap coonetion traingle that rubs again the inner arch and outside of foot.

Lightly used for a year and then when hiking the next. Nothing crazy, just a little hilly terrain along a river and both front and back straps broke on one sandal halfway through. Had to go a mile back barefoot on account.

My feet are torn up from these. Definitely not the same. They no longer make this in womens, so I replaced mine with men's, and they fit me fine, or so I thought, but both my big toes are rubbed raw underneath. Is this really leather??? Where the strap rubs my ankle I am all torn up also. Did a chat with Teva, sent Nikki pics, and she said the "warehouse" won't refund worn shoes. Despite what they did to my feet. I've had them one month. Just lost a lifelong customer Teva.

The front toe strap failed under normal ware just outside of warranty date. This is clearly a defect in the materials used, the material disintigrated. The suede footbed also peeled up and tore.

This pair of Tevas didn't last long. The strap of the right sandal that holds the heel, broke. I had many pairs of Tevas. I hiked, mixed cement, climbed rocks and waded through water in them. The straps never broke. They lasted years. These failed after six months.
I'd also recommend:
keen, Doc Martens.

These shoes suck! I have gone through lots of TEVA sandals over the years. Most have held up great! These survived only 4 months (purchased in March, into the trash by July)... Mind you, I was not wearing these just in the office, they see use in the desert (hiking/biking)
The sole is hollow and literally chunking apart (see picture). The heel strap on one of the shoes has already given out , stretched and torn making the shoes impossible to use. I reached out to TEVA and they would not replace , at least not if purchased through a 3rd party site like Zappos. They did offer an unknown value voucher for their site , if I shipped the shoes back at my cost.
So yeah, stick with the basic stuff at half the price. These looked great but are not rugged

I bought these sandals while vacationing in the Outer Banks, NC. They were a little expensive but I thought that I would treat myself. I figured since they were Teva that they would last me a long time. I was wrong. The straps just came right out from the base, fell right apart. I bought a cheap pair of $10 sandals on the Wildwood, NJ board walk years ago that lasted me 12 years. These Teva ones suck. I will never buy a single Teva product again. Poor product.

I chose these based on other reviews. I decided to spend the extra money to get the highest priced item and hopefully enjoy them for at least a decade. I can't say that will be the case. I'm considering returning them. I don't believe the leather insole is going to last and will be problematic in adverse weather.
