Thanks for keeping the leather model around. I've been wearing these (and others) since [I think?] 1990. Just bought my 4th pair, even though my 3rd has a few more miles left. In all, my leathers don't get as much abuse as the nylon models, but two pairs of Teva's [leather and nylon] have accompanied me to multiple states, countries, and continents since I bought my first pair.

These are my second pair. The last pair were at least 10 years old and well worn!

A very good sandal. It's only difficult to get in Californian stores. Easier to find it in Germany.

This sandal looks great and seems well made. However, the rubberized tab on the outer part of the shoe hits my ankle in a bad spot and is painful after a while. I'm still trying to figure out a a solution.

Would prefer the plastic snap-on clip I had on my previous pair of Tevas to the velcro straps on this one, but I can live with it.

This seems like a great shoe. Unfortunately the toe box seems very/too wide. So wide that the cross-toe straps tend to be very flat and pull on the sides rather than cinch in my fore foot. If one does cinch that fore strap in, the end of the strap ends up hanging off the the side of the shoe and touching the ground. It's possible the size was just too big for my foot, in addition to being designed very wide up front, but I was able to adjust the rear end very nicely. It was only the fore foot that was at issue. Also of note, the arch is pretty high/sharp. ('perhaps a little too much for me.) As a result, it's important to make sure the heel strap places your foot in just the right place. Fortunately those heel straps and the mid-straps do this very well. They are very well designed. 'perhaps the best I've experienced.

these are terrific sandals. I bought these for light summer hiking. When they were new, they felt already broken-in, and after 30+ miles, they can still pass for new. They stay right all day

If you find yourself between sizes like: 9.5, 10.5, 11.5, etc. order down. The sizes run big, and the straps allow you to adjust where your foot sits on the sandal. I usually wear a 10 in most tennis shoes, so I bought a 10 and I have the straps as tight as they go comfortably and my toe is still half an inch behind the tip of the sole. Usually if I order a 9.5 my toe is touching the tip of the tennis shoe. However, next time I order a set of Tevas I'll just order a 9 and expand the straps.

Fit perfectly and the arch is great. Only disappointment is that the actual color and finish is a very dull brown suade, not the orange/brown as pictured. Would have liked it better if the real sandal was as pictured. Will keep as they are super comfortable.

I use them for everyday casual walking. The straps have rubbed sores on my ankles and feet. Letting them heal before trying to wear them again.

Buyer Beware! not the brown you think you're buying. I love the sandal; it's the perfect travel footwear to take on a (weather appropriate) trip. This purchase, however, confused me at first; seems the turkish coffee color pattern is nowhere close to what's being depicted online. I kept this sandal because I did not want to deal with the whole process; but I probably won't wear this as much as I wanted to. Bad marketing from Teva this time around.

I liked them overall but the heal has an adjustment band that while in itself not a bad feature sports a cushioning that unfortunately has one edge that digs into my inside ankle. Maybe I could live with that sensation, or maybe I could use tape over it, but my experience, with other footwear, if there is anything that feels wrong, I won't use the item much. SO, I'm returning them for an item I've had good experience with previously.

The construction of the sandals is excellent. And, I've purchased earlier version of this model and was very happy with them. The problem with the new model is it seems that nobody at Teva bothered to update the pictures. The new model is a dark olive green type color whereas the older model was brown. I wanted the brown color shown in the pictures not dark green.

I've worn Tevas most of the summer for decades. I'm getting used to these but they're not a comfortable as the last pair ( about 10 yeasts old). Though the same model the previous pair had a covering where the back straps meet the ankle and front straps. These don't. Definitely not as comfortable but seem to be breaking in

Fit and size were great. Durability and quality of construction were terrible. After wearing only occasionally for 6 months, the ankle strap pulled out of the footbed. This is not fixable. I expected far more from a $100+ sandal.

The fit was fine, but the shoes felt heavy, cumbersome, and clumsy - not what I need for long walks.

I have had TEVA footware for many many years and never had a problem. Recommended TEVA to family and friends. Each pair of sandals lasts years and we're comfortable. Not this time. Sandals fit big and loose and are very uncomfortable. Poor design. Very unhappy to spend over $100 and have sandals I do not wear often. VERY disappointed.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I love these sandals. BUT they’re is a major design flaw. This is only my second summer wearing them (total of maybe 4 months wear). The lining on the inner sole (the part your feet stand on) separated from the base. They didn’t rip, just separated and it feels like wearing loose socks that fold up underneath, making it very uncomfortable. I would have gotten at least w more years out of these otherwise.

The soles are very soft and comfortable. However, the lining on all three straps rubbed and irritated my skin, making them unwearable. I sent them back and purchased a different brand.

Had to return the first order as Teva size 10 was smaller than all my other size 10 footwear. That return was long and drawn out, and resulted in my waiting over a month for replacement. The replacement already has the Velcro strip detaching from the sandal. I won't order Teva again
