The trainers are comfortable but they are a noisy.

Good quality, comfortable shoes as usual - makes running feel easier!

Light trail shoe. Need to go a half size bigger for a perfect fit.

Very comfortable, waterproofing excellent. Soles noisy on hard surfaces but grip excellent on mud and off road.

Compared to my old fujiattack trail shoes, these are heavier and not as flexible, the goretex is great for keeping my feet dry but it also over warms my feet. I have only tested these shoes in the summer, they are possibly great for winter runs, time will tell.

A nice comfortable solid shoe. The delivery time was disappointing but I blame the courier for that.

I've lost count of the pairs of Asics shoes that I have bought and enjoyed. The removable sock liner in the most recent version is a narrow, flat and foam material. I have replaced this with the sock liner from my previous pair so that it suits my orthotics. Just to make others aware.

I use Asics Nimbus for road but bought these for a bit of off road running. The fit is very good and they have quite a bit of shock absorption for a trail shoe. I'm 6'3" and 15 stone so they can take a pounding! All in all recommended if you're looking for a reasonably priced shoe for a bit of trail running.

I've bought ASICS runners from time to time as they are always a good fit for my slightly wider feet and I don't blow out the sides. These Gore-tex lined versions are great for keeping my feet dry why taking my dogs out (walk and jog) through the parks and meadows. The tread pattern of the 5 is better for grip than previous versions I've had. The upper liner has a slight krinckle noise but this is Ok and I suspect it will settle. Good support, fit, comfort, protection for the price.

This shoe fits very different than the GT1000 or 2000. I'm sticking with it for now, but probably would not purchase again unless the design changes. The shoes fits longer and is narrower than other Asics shoes. So, if you have a long, narrow foot....you'll probably love it.

They were too narrow ...gave me a fibroma after 1 wear. Returned them and bought Ventures in a wide width

This is a light weight shoe, expected a more rugged shoe. Still comfortable and true to size

I was hoping after the shoes got broken in, they'd be more comfortable, but they are not. They don't fit right at the toes, and my heels are sore after wearing them all day.

Not as comfortable in the heel area as I am use to with their products. By the end of the day I notice my feet are sore.

It's good but it has a weird noise, like stepping into plastic bags every single time...

A great shoe but not the comfiest Asics I've ever had, shoe back digs in a little.

Excellent trainer very comfortable, didnt know if the grey colour in the photograph would stack up in real life but I was surprised how nice they looked. Made of gortex they proved tgey were waterproof in a rain shower.

this is my zillioneth pair of Asics and they want my opinion ha ha I love your shoes thats why I am back for more, big run coming up at 75 years of age and I need comfort - for my feet that is ! San Antonio marathon here i come

They're about average. Had the sonoma 4, which were absolute junk.
