Comfortable and stylish! Took some breaking in, but great after a couple hours wear. Wore to a wedding and had a great time! Comfortable for any event.

Great shoe! Was back ordered & arrived just when you said it would.

I love the style. But functionally, it's painful to wear. But after a day of errands, my foot was blown up by the arch in the insole. The insole is either glued or stitched in, and I had worn them for a day, so there wasn't much I could do. Really, really disappointed.

I bought a pair of size 10.5 McGuffeys for a three week trip to Italy in 2016 and wore them almost every day. Great comfort and arch support. So, with another trip to Italy in a few weeks, I ordered a pair of these in 10.5. When I tried them on, they were too small and I had to return them for a size 11.0. The size 11.00 was perfect and even more comfortable than my old ones.

I love J & M shoes. I own no other brand in any style. Currently, 14 pair in the rotation. Never a problem. No break in time. Always look & feel great. Also exclusive with your socks too. Recommend: Bring back brushed blue McGuffey. I had a pair, then got a puppy. Also, consider 1 extra pair shoe laces with model of shoe using cloth type laces. Just a hope, but not a deal breaker. Good quality but it run a bit smaller

The shoe is two different shades and does not look well.

They want my shoes, but theyre so comfy Im keeping them. I bought replacements BEFORE mine wore out so Ill never have to go without!

Great style, comfort. However, even with protective spray, stains absorb deeply and cant be adequately removed.

These shoes arrived looking like this; the left shoe looks brand new the right shoe looks like somebody wore it to a party. This pair was sent to me as a replacement for a defective pair on which the stitching was coming unraveled after less than a half dozen uses. Having been a J&M customer for many, many years, I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and failure of attention to detail in transactions with the McGuffey.

My husband had a problem walking steady so I knew Johnson and Murphy makes a good strong shoe. Well they never disappoint. My husband walks steady on his feet and is supported by these good looking , quality made shoes . Excellent choice. Thank you Johnstons and Murphy

I really like the look and comfort of the shoe. I have purchased a variety of JM shoes over the years. Always buy size 11. This is the first time that 11 is less than a perfect fit. Seems like a little more of a width issue than length. Nothing that can't be fixed with a little thicker sock.

J&M makes it easy to find your right size shoe even if needs returning/exchanging for a better size; they make it easy.

Nice quality leather and overall comfortable shoe. Color is unique and I can wear these to work or just out and about. The memory foam is ok but after wearing several times, the shoes feels thin in the forefoot and lacks cushioning. They have nice heel cushioning and arch support and the midsole is not too thick or thin. I would consider transitioning the forefoot cushioning to a more absorbable material with better rebound such as a gel based insole.

My husband loves these shoes! We just visited NYC and walked MANY miles. These are extremely comfortable and the look great for a night out a a jazz club. Thank you!
