the interior of the shoe, although low at the ankle is very comfortable and sturdy. this is very much a shoe with a stiff, resistant exterior. the treads are futuristic and can be slippery on wood floors. this is an outdoor shoe,,, for the trail only. this shoe could quite possibly also be used when bouldering or even rock climbing. you sure won't stub a toe when your foot hits the face of what you're climbing!

My feet is somewhere between 11-11.5 wide (11.2in length is technically it) so I bought a 11.5. I'm pretty sure on the brannock I'm a 46E which is 11.5. I thought it was kind of spot on where I had 1 finger width of space. The toe part of the shoe is hard so the width is actually a good call on my end.
I thought the shoes were somewhat comfortable. The white-grayish part above the sole is a bit weird. Typically, that part of the shoes is below your feet but it is raised upwards a bit so I kept noticing the presence of it whenever I walk. This could be my wide feet tho. However, when I started to actually bike and hike with them, I didn't really notice it and I was successfully able to get through 10 miles of mtb and hiking trails fine. Surprisingly, it is comfortable and very grippy.

I think they fit great and feel alright and are fairly light but there is a weird pressure in the insides of the center portion of my feet when I walk and the shoes are a bit lighter in person than in the picture.

Lightweight, flexible, comfortable and grippy but in less than a month, 2 of the knobbies have sheared off while being used on regular (Brompton) pedals. Not even true MTB pedals. So while I think it's good for commuting or bike touring I don't think it's as tough as the other 510s.

These have a good sole but they run quite big. I will pass them off to my son.

They grip my pedals very well. They are comfortable while riding. Good to wear on other adventures, eliminating the need for extra shoes on camping trips.
Started to squish my pinky toes on longer hikes.

Great looking shoe but runs BIG. I have a size 10 running shoe. The size 10 in this shoe was WAY to big.

Sent quickly. I used the size chart for a foot of 26.5 cm, ordered size 9, there is a small supply, maybe size 8.5 would be better. Haven't used it yet, so 4 stars.

The fit, with enough width for me -- a problem with cycling shoes;
The sole, enough flex to get around unmounted, stiff enough to transmit power, and great grip on good pedals;
The looks -- great for a cycling shoe, really for any shoe.
