Having read lots and watching lots of reviews I took the plunge and purchased a pair of these shoes. Most reviews noted that the shoes come up a little small, given that I would be wearing these on my bike I ordered a half size bigger than normal shoes and they were bang on in terms of fitness. The grip on my pedals is superb! I was apprehensive from the product shots as the grip profile looked rather shallow, but there is no need to be concerned. The only advice I would give is that these are better suited to warmer weather. Wore them in frosty conditions and the fronts of my feet were a bit chilly halfway through my 20 mile ride. Wore an extra pair of socks today and that did give added warmth, but went through couple of puddles and the front mesh absorbed the water straight into my socks - my feet quickly turned into blocks of ice! This is the reason for my slightly reduced rating in comfort. Goretex protection would be great in future versions. Would I wear them for prolonged walking parts of my cycling? Probably not. If I knew I would be walking longer than 5 mins on my ride I would probably wear my terrex skyscrapers. Better grip for the climbs.

Pros- Very grippy sole, feet have never slipped of the ordeals since. Comfort is good of and on the bike. Material dries quick, a plus if you live in Scotland! Loop for laces is a clever and simple addition. Style/design is good. Cons- The top of the trainer feels too close to my ankles, causing a bit of discomfort at times. This can also be an issue when off the bike, especially on steep climbs. A bit tight across the widest part of your foot.

So pleased with my new 5/10s, not had them off. I love them, they grip well, comfy and sturdy at the same, protecting my feet from elements and any hard hits. Best purchase.

I've never been one to write reviews either good or bad, but these shoes are amazing....took them out for their first ride the other day , and straight out of the box they were comfortable and fit perfectly, no breaking in period needed. Ive always used cleats on the road but fancied flats for my mountain bike , and the soles on these shoes combined with the studs on my pedals nearly gave as much grip as my cleats. A good sturdy shoe that I would recommend

Great shoe, very hard wearing and really grippy on flat peddles. Reinforced heel so I don't smash my heels with a peddle. Pretty happy with my purchase.

I'm usually a size 10 but went for a 10.5 and I'm glad I did.i think a 10 would be to small.great quality,should last a while.not used them in the wet yet so can't comment about that. Overall I'm very happy so far.
