Worn for the full Kili trek, in the Tanzania summer. Zero sunburn. Cool and well fitted. Perfect gear.

I just used this shirt for the 50 miler and sinister7 in Crowsnest pass. Temps got as high as 37 degrees and the course had a lot of exposure! This shirt was absolute magic in keeping me from burning to a crisp and allowing me to finish. Having the long sleeves and being able to wet them down was key to keeping my core temp down so I didn't join the droves of people dropping out from the heat.
I would absolutely recommend this shirt in grey for anyone doing activities outdoors in the hot sun.

Really good quality material, super lightweight and all that with a very stylish design. Great all rounder for the summer when you want to stay protected from the sun.

Worn 3 or four times on runs/walks so far and also around the house, I would say can cross over into fall and winter easy! It is it basically a summer sun shirt with great layering opportunities in the fall/winter.

Great materials. Very lightweight but feels of good quality. I'm usually in between sizes (M/L) and medium fit me perfectly.

Bought one of these a few weeks back and almost instantly it became maybe my favorite piece of clothing. I wore it everyday. Very soon afterwards I bought a second to keep them in rotation. Incredibly comfortable, a great sized hood that easily fits under or over a helmet, great thumbloops (there when you want em, unnoticeable otherwise), overall a thoughfully designed piece that functions as well as it looks.

A lot of the reviews have complained about the hoody's fit. I like it. I'm 5'10", 180lbs. Purchased the large, as I do in other Arcteryx tops. I have a skier's build, not a climber's or XC racer's. Want to climb 5k feet on the mountain bike? Cool. Tele pow all day? Cool. I'm not the fastest or fittest. I don't look anything like the 6'2" models in the marketing photos. You get the idea. This hoody has longer arms and is "baggier" in fit compared to other tops. It should. It's a sun shirt for hot weather. Looser fit is desired for heat. The long arms nicely cover the tops of my hands when using the thumb loops. The design is for sun protection and hot AF weather. Want a svelte fit? Size one down from normal. Otherwise, stick with your normal Arcteryx sizing.

I bought this hoodie a few weeks back and love it. It is the ideal weight for spring when it can go from warm to cold quickly.

Absolutely love this hooded sweater. Very light, very functional. In winter month i found it to be warm when worn as part of layering system. Spring time, perfect for trail running or just being outdoor. When I first tried it I was unsure as to how durable it would be, after wearing I was surprised how durable this hoodie actually is. Love it. Need more of them. Definitely recommend.

Even though this top is recommended for sun protection while doing summer Alpine activities and Hiking Etc, I find this an excellent fall and even winter base layer or simply a stand-alone layer due to its styling and comfort. Relatively loose fit, Hood does not stay up well on its own if there is any type of wind but I love the thumb straps which keep your wrists and the lower part of your hand warm. I had a very difficult time finding one and had to keep checking on the website so if you see one grab it because they seem to be popular. Probably because they are very versatile and suit a wide variety of environments.

I'd wear this shirt every day if I could. Ultra comfortable, slimming fit, and protects on the beach, boat, or trail. Will be getting another color asap

I bought one of these a few months ago and was so impressed that I had to get a second one, just because. Cool in the heat, great sunblocking, and just enough cover-up for when the sun dips. super comfortable!

This hoody comes with me on every hike during the summer. Lightweight and doesn't take up much room in my pack. A great mid-layer on the cooler days, and thin enough to wear on warmer days to protect against the sun.

taken it on several day trips, and for casuals hikes. I love how it feels wearing it, and it's also been great for moderate weather. I was surprised that the hood stayed up so well!
It is warmer than expected, I wouldn't wear it in sunlight over 70 degrees, if that.

Had it for a few months and never been sunburned on long Colorado hikes. Ditch the sunscreen and wear this puppy anywhere. Might buy a second one... We'll see!

Wore my Remige everyday on a 100 mile, six day hike on the Arizona Trail in March. The Remige kept the sun off but was loose enough to allow air to cool me off. Felt great under my pack and dried very quickly when I took breaks. The hood provided great sun protection and was loose enough to allow air in but stayed in place over my baseball cap. The sleeves are long enough to cover hands right up to the knuckles when using the thumb loops for added sun protection. Its not super ultralight but does a great job at keeping the sun off and staying cool at the same time. After six days it did retain more odour than say a merino wool but was fine after washing. Only time will tell about durability.

This is a great shirt to hike with as well as wearing to casually workout in. It breathes well when you start to sweat and keeps you cool while being in the sun. The hood design is a nice touch, Arc'teryx did a good job on this one.

I'm 6'3", athletic build, and wear the XL over the Cormac Zipneck XL long sleeve shirt. Great fit and instant warmth as soon as it goes on. Maintains warmth and comfort during alpine skiing. These will be my go-to layers for hiking and biking as well. Should have bought a second pair.

I purchased this for my upcoming thru hike in Colorado. Although I believe it would work it does not dry as fast as my OR Echo hoody and it's a bit warmer and I'm hiking in July. All and all a great hoody but I paid full price too much in my opinion . I also fish a lot and live in Florida so I will get a lot of use out of it!
