Bought a couple of weeks ago now so had a bit of time with it.
The material is as you would expect, light and breezy.
It's Arcteryx so it is well made with attention to the little details.
Hood is great with a stiffer peak that does not just flop in your face.
Also, the hood is large enough that it covers and shades from the sun.
I liked it and yes I did buy another in different colour

Lovely fabric. Very comfortable to wear. Nice thumb loops. Nice cut. Only annoying thing is the big washing label but that's relatively easy to remove with some small scissors.

I bought this item last year and have done 100's of miles of runs wearing it. So comfy and lightweight, it's like it's not there. You look the part too!!

The Aptin Zip hoodie, and Kyanite zip hoodie both fit me perfectly in Large. 5'10, 42" chest, 34" waist, 175lbs. This fit more like an XL, very loose and longer. The hood went well over my head and down to eye level. My guess is you have to wear a helmet with it. Returning it, and just ordered a Medium.

I use this primarily for ski touring on the uptrack. The sleeves push up nicely, the hood can sit in place just on the back of the head to just cover ears, or it can be pulled over the head all the way and stay in place. Breathable yet it cuts the wind substantially. I do find it heavier than the previous Phasic Sun version (of which I also own) but overall its become a staple in the ski touring lineup.

Generally the purpose of a sun hoody over, say, a long sleeve shirt, is being able to pull the hoody up to shade the sides of your face where your baseball cap wouldn't. Mystifyingly, Arc'teryx decided to cut the sides of the hoody back and away from the face, making that part pretty pointless with the exception of shielding the back of the neck. Like all Arc'teryx products this shirt is constructed well otherwise with high quality material. It feels light and weightless and will be comfortable in the sun. Also, I really like the secret thumbholes that pull your shirt down over the tops of your hands without having to stick your thumbs through the shirt itself. It's thoughtful design pieces like that that make me keep coming back to this brand. I hope in the next generation this hood can be fixed!!

This shirt offers a lot of great features. It has great coverage from the sun, the weight of the material is appropriate for summer heat, the fabric feels great against your skin, and it seems to be holding up well from the abrasion between the backpack straps and the shirt.
Now here's the major downside: any contact with velcro will completely decimate the fabric and turn whatever portion of the shirt that touched the velcro into a war zone of snagged material. I literally had to make it a habit to roll down the opening of my backpack in order to cover up the velcro on the rim in order to stop destroying the shirt every time I reached in to grab an item.
I still love the item and I plan to continue using it, however; I wish that I was warned about how sensitive this material is so that I didn't have to learn from my own experience

Bought the Phasic Sun Hoody for a thru hike last year and loved it so much i decided to buy another sun hoody for my next adventure. Unfortunately, this one is much heavier than the phasic and feels a lot warmer. I hope you bring back the phasic in 2021!

Usually size small Arc products such as the Elaho, Delta LT, Aptin, Atom LT, and Proton FL fit me well (sleeve and torso length-wise) but this LS was ridiculously long! I the torso length dropped below my crotch and the sleeves were 3-4 inches too long coming down to my knuckles. The material felt very soft and supple but, unfortunately, I had to return it due to sizing.
