I have worn Asics for years and these fit perfectly. However, they already have a hole in the toe. My big toe completely pokes through the top of the show after two months of wear. I have only run in them twice and have mostly worn them for walking.

Don’t believe the other reviews that talk about how great the arch support in these shoes are. I used to wear Asics all the time because I have high arches and they were the only shoes that kept me from over pronating. Then Asics changed their arch support. I thought I would give these a try since they had such great reviews. They are very uncomfortable. The sole is hard like walking on cement, the size runs small and squishes your toes, the arch support is nearly non-existent. I will be returning these shoes.

The fit of this shoe was true to size. With that being said, I am returning these shoes because of cramping in my toes after about 3 miles into a run. I have been a 20 year wearer of Asics but had the same problem with another pair of Asics, different model that I purchased. It feels like the toe bed in this shoe was dramatically changed. I appreciate Zappos 30 day run trial.

These shoes worked well for awhile, but I’ve had them for 10 months and they already have holes in the top where my pinkie toe rests. I am not a runner, work out maybe 3 times a week and only wear them to the gym. I would’ve thought these would have lasted at least a year!! Comfortable shoe, but disappointing longevity.

I wear an 8.5 in regular shoes and a 9.5 in running shoes. I bought these and the GT-2000 9 both in a size 9.5, and these run so much smaller! My big toe hit the end of this shoe. I have a narrow foot and this Medium width felt way too tight for running. These are going back and I will keep the GT-2000.

I have an a bony narrow foot and I purchase Asics because they usually have a narrower ankle fit and they used to have a narrower ball/toe bed. Unfortunately, that was not the case with this particular shoe. I replaced the inner soles but even with different innersoles these were still too wide and slightly longer than normal.

Yet another pair of shoes that claim to be wide but are not . So disappointed , this is the second pair of shoes I am returmning . First the Ryka and now the Aesics . I used to love them both, but for some reason they are no longer being made well and /or accurately. The toe box is very narrow , contrary to what others wrote . If you need a wide shoe , this is not for you. It does not good to make a "wide" shoe only wide on the top and not adjust the width of the base . For some reason these manufacturers can't figure that out . It is hard enough to find wide shoes , so frustrating whne the wides are really not .... and I am NOT that wide .

Why mess with a good thing? The tread on the bottom of this shoe was changed from a rectangular shape to a circular shape. Every step I take in these shoes place too much pressure on the ball of my foot. The GT1000 has been my go to model for many years and now I will not buy again unless the tread goes back to the old design. Change the color, change the shoelace but mechanical changes not necessary on a time honored shoe.

I really wanted to love these Asics because the color and quality looks great but unfortunately after wearing after only 4 hours, my feet were numb on the balls of my feet and painful the next day. I loosened up the laces but only got minimal relief. I am open to any suggestions!

This shoe runs narrow in the toes. It does not provide much cushion under the ball of your foot. It does not seem to provide much stability, considering this is a shoe for overpronation.

The front of the shoe is narrower and though the webbed material is expandable, it felt too tight. So sad to buy the Asics GT-1000 9 and have them not fit, as Asics have for the past decade of buying them.

Always rubbed on ankles from day 1 and gave me blisters

Don’t buy! The toe area has NO reinforcement at all, flimsy fabric here. I developed holes on both shoes within the first 2 months of wearing these! Disappointing for ASICS, their other styles never had this problem.

Super disappointed in this shoe. We walk about 5-6 miles on our walks and I was trying to find a good walking shoe. I have always had good luck with Asics, so I ordered these. On the first outing, I was having pain on the inside of my foot just in front of the heel. It wasn't unmanageable and I couldn't figure out what was causing it, so I just kept wearing them. Finally, I wore them on an all day outing of walking and hill climbing and I came home with a blister on my heel where the pain had been. I ran my fingers around the inside of the shoe and realized that the edge of the heel cup was what was digging into my foot and causing me so many issues. I chucked them and am trying Skechers. Again, very disappointed in this shoe.

They have some weird ball or swell in the center, behind the toes a little. Not arch support. They hurt. I did not send them back in time, but I won't even wear them to mow the grass.
