I bought them hoping they had the same cushion as the 18 Nimbus. They absolutely do not.

I was an avid Asics Gel-Nimbus lover since I first found this shoe back in 2012. I've owned over two dozen pairs of this particular shoe and raved about it to all of my fitness friends. Sadly, something changed with the Nimbus 19 and the quality and comfort had not been the same since. Desperately, each time a new version is released I run to the store to see if the shoe has improved and it has not. The Nimbus no longer gives the "running on clouds" cushion and comfort that I knew and loved. Instead, the shoes seem to lack cushion and feel very narrow in the toe box. It's so sad because I really loved this shoe!

From first try on these are magical and, as marketed, feels like walking on clouds. HOWEVER, my heel aches after 10 minutes on the elliptical. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but no. It continually happens. Very disappointed as these are extremely expensive, brand new, and should not be hurting my feet.

I've loved the Nimbus since the 15, but it's shocking how inconsistent the product is. I don't get why they have to change the fit, responsiveness, and cushioning every year for different versions of the same product. This is a bad version of the nimbus. Extremely small. Low cushioning. Weird sockliner. If you liked it previously, go order some on clearance before the version you liked is gone. If you bought this shoe and liked it, just realize that there's very little chance that future nimbus will also work for you.

Very sad that top running shoes are not available in a wide width. And when they are, you get to choose black. Make the blue in a wide!!
