I thought these shoes were so cute & they're really comfortable. BUT after only a month the mesh/fabric was showing so much wear. I've had them for less than 2 months now and they almost have holes too big to wear them. I hardly wear them outside & the treads show barely any wear. I don't feel like sneakers should be worn out after less than 40 trips to the gym.

She is a bit stiff all around but I also feel it in the ankle area when I wear them. The padding inside the shoe is basically non-existent and is not supportive. I usually purchase ASICS in store and all the shoes are supportive with good padding so I didn't think ASICS sold shoes without both of those qualities.

These shoes are comfortable for standing and walking in. But they aren't great for running. There is no arch support and no grip on the sole of the shoe. I've slipped a few times when I jogged on wet sidewalks with these. I also had to replace the insole with a more supportive running insole. All in all, the only positive things I've found with these is that they're well ventilated.

Had to remove the inner sole as there was no support, and it was glued in. fortunate I had some from other Asics that could use, but they are probably best for going to the grocery store. Live and learn

You definitely get what you pay for with these shoes. Very flimsy. Not much support. I will spend the money on better quality next time.

I am not a runner. I got these shoes because I spend a lot of time standing and walking. This shoe has very little support and is not very comfortable with the first use, but it is attractive.

The shoes fit my feet but there was absolutely no padding/cushioning in the shoe. When I walked or ran in them it felt like my foot was hitting the pavement without any shock absorption. I will be returning these.

I love the look of these shoes and they're very comfortable. Unfortunately, after just two weeks of use I can already start to see a hole forming in the mesh around the toe, which is super disappointing.

Gr8 for my first 12-hr shift but on the next 12-hr shift they were the worst. Feet hurt, shoes felt tight around toes. Sucked so bad. All my research lead to the ASICS Kayano 26, but zappos didn't have my size so I opted for these. Gonna stay away form ASCICs.

I thought I would really like these GEL CONTEND 6; but, sadly I don't.
The fit is strange and not supportive. My other pair of Asics (a step below Gel 6) are fabulous! Great support and wonderful walking shoes. Not this pair:(.

True to size fit. I do not like the lightweight foam sole that seems to be what all these running shoes are made with now. These shoes are not made to last, there is no reinforcement at the toe, so these type of fabrics always start to shred on me within a month or two.

I normally wear ASICS Nimbus but with the company changing the design and making the women's Nimbus narrower i cN not wear them. So I bought the Gel-Contend, while comfortable they are not as comfortable as the Nimbus.

It was recommended to me that I get the wide, which was the first issue - they were really too wide ... but the toe box is extremely low. Although I had room for the length of my toes, I ended an hour walk with sore toes on both feet, and two toes with partially black nails. The shoes don't have much in the way of support - in fact, they seem to encourage me walking on the sides of my feet a bit.
Lucky for me, I was made aware that I could wear these shoes and evaluate them for 30 days. I'm glad I get to return these, because they're just not for my feet.

Rock hard shoe. Very little cushion on the bottom, like concrete. Color is not yellow more like washed out cream color. There’s a reason they’re on sale. Returning them.

Much less supportive and comfortable than previous versions, like they took out everything that was great about the shoe and made it an economy shoe. Not good for long workouts or much time on your feet. So very disappointed as Asics is my go-to workout shoe.
