I thought I would try out the newest version of the GT-1000 to see if it improved over the 8 iteration. Sadly, it has not. My favorite athletic shoe of all time used to be the GT-1000 or GT-2000, but I recently switched to the Gel-Venture series due to its perfect fit and excellent support and wear factors. I have less than 500 miles on the GT-1000 and it's worn out. I continue to wear my Gel-Venture 6 and it has close to 1200 miles on it and it still supports and though the heel is worn smooth, it still rebounds beautifully. I average around 100 miles a week and the G-V series has never succumbed to my mileage. I am sad to say that the newest version of the GT-1000 does not hold up.

These sneakers are very comfortable and light but the fabric is very thin. 3 months later and my toes are pocking through.

So far so good, done a couple of short runs in these trainers and seem really good..comfortable and plenty of cushioning. Only reason not giving 5 stars is that I feel they haven't been fully run in yet so reserving my true judgment til I've done more miles in them.

Only worn once for a 7 mile run, so opinions could change after a few more miles. Initial impressions are the shoes are very comfortable, good cushioning, and in a positive way I didn't notice they were new (while at the same time noticing the comfort you get from new running shoes). My only concern are the laces - they don't feel like they will last a load of tying up tightly - I hope it's down to improved lace technology but suspect after a few dozen times of pulling laces tight they will snap and need replacing.

Very decent shoe and received as expected. Does feel slightly bigger than other running shoes from different brands, but it does fit though. Quality is good, better than a N### pair I bought in December. Delivery took forever though, would suspect that this was not shipped from the UK.

Nice shoes to run in.comfortable and solid under foot.

Excellent stability shoes. As someone who is flat footed I need something with and arch for support but if the arch is high or firm it can give me blisters. These are perfect as they correct my feet just enough to help without causing pain. Will keep buying this as long as they are available and I'm running

Everything from ordering to delivery went ok. The runners are perfect and are very comfortable.

Trusted brand and shoe, not disappointed! I get my gait checked every now and again to make sure the GT1000 is still suitable... if it ain't broke don't fix it!

Shoes are excellent. Very comfortable and provide great support when running. I would recommend these shoes.

Great valeu for money. The GT-1000 10 fits perfect on my expectations.

i purchased these trainers online so no fitting on beforehand . i found them to fit me just as perfectly as my previous asics. i do a lot of walking and also i have a dodgy knee and fallen arches but i find the comfort level when walking to be far superior to other brands .

Great shoe- fits well and is fine for my plantar that can occasionally kick in. Shoes don't last as long as I'd hope them to- soles wear through too quickly and I'm not even heavy / heavy footed. For that reason- marked down a star

Good quality, comfortable shoes in nice colours but the sizing came up a bit small so I had to return them.

Perfect for running but not as cushioned as Nimbus.

A little tight but well made shoe. Not as comfortable as the Ziruss but works for short runs and everyday use.

Good quality, comfortable runner. Not sure about long term quality.

Please with the purchase as I needed Good stability trainers. This fits nicely.

Decent shoe. Padding could be better. Still prefer the Gel Kayano
