Switched from a standard width to Xwide after suffering from metatarsalgia. These offer enough space for my wide foot and are stiff and supportive enough to keep my foot protected. Despite the stiffness and support they are lightweight and breathable which is hard to find in such a package. I haven't had any further foot problems since purchasing.

I only wear Asics! I've had dz's of pairs. By far, these are one of my favorites! Very comfortable and I absolutely love the palm trees!

Good looking, well made & very supportive, just like the shoes! I'm a 100kg runner so footwear gets a hard time. I find ASICS in general to last longer, even with the gel models.

Extremely comfortable, lightweight shoe and have given me confidence while coming back from an injury. Reason I won't run in anything but ASICS.

I got a deal on these, but it turns out they are some of the most comfortable ASICS I have. I have nothing bad to say about these - I bought them as just a pair of extra shoes for wearing out and about in daily life, and I love them

The trainers are so comfortable and we made. Wore them the first time, fit perfectly, no rubbing on heels or toes. Best trainers i have bought, well since the last pair of Asics!

My son says these are very comfortable. He doesnt feel like they are offering a lot of extra support over his other trainers however. He has wider than average feet, but not extra wide and these are comfortable.

As someone who heavily overpronates and has been struggling with genuine consistant pain these shoes helped to relieve some of that pain. They are not a cure but they are definitely helping me in taking the right steps (pun intended) to eleviate that pain permanently. It should be noted that when it comes to sizing Asics was an entire size less than my usual shoe. I often get size 12 with Nike, Adidas and Puma however with Asics the perfect fit was 11 and it was dead on. Extremely comfortable, sock like feel with rarely any problems. If there is a downside it could possibly be the wear and tear of the sole. I train intensely so please factor this in to my point. The sole does seem to soften up incredibly quickly. Over than that, for anyone who cant deal with huge heel drops (12mm etc) and overpronates excessively these shoes are definitely something that wont let you down.

Have been using the GT-1000 series for years, another great product!
