Overall this sneaker is great for lumbar spine pain. I suffer from severe pain and have a tendency to lean forward when I walk but it feel like the sneakers are trying to correct that. It is VERY fatiguing on my heels. I am trying to walk in them as an all day shoe and the only other comfort issue is the lace on top. No matter how it's tied, it feels tight on the top of the foot. The material quality and craftsmanship appears excellent compared to other name brands. I do notice the fabric at the toe already formed a small tear. Really hope these last me a while!

great cushion and fit of shoe. My only critique is the shoe is not as pictured. The striping is full black and incthe picture it is outlined in black only.

Another good shoe from Asics. Not as cushioned as I need. Good support but a little loose through the midfoot.

I like these shoes. The fit is great and they are super comfortable for now. I have only been wearing them for a week, so we will see how they hold up long-term.

I’ve been running with Gel Nimbus for about 10 years and love them. You can take them out of the box with no break-in period. Very comfortable shoes

A lot of cushioning can be a good thing, or not such a good thing. For me, I wanted more stability and downgraded to the cumulus. This has great cushioning throughout, but the feel was too “smooshy” for me. Good shoe otherwise. Got the blue with orange on the sides....be aware the orange is neon!

So far, so good. Exceptionally comfortable. Large toebox, we'll see how it affects walking.

ASICS are my go-to running shoes. I have a wide foot and the wide width is a great fit. Don’t love the style, they are fine, but they were out of other styles In my size.

Asics always has the craziest color ways. So that is always something new and refreshing. Unique in that sense, The design of the shoe is very sleek, and stylish. The first time I placed my foot in the shoe and did the rocking back and forth, I noticed it was easier going onto the front of your foot than the heels. This indicates the shoe will force you on the balls and toes of your feet. I might recommend going up a half of a size because it pushes your foot forward into the toe box and you loose 1/2 in of space in your heal due to the design. You could combat that by removing the insoles. If you walk landing on your heels first, this might not be the shoe for you. Overall, the nimbus 23 has all the traditional things you love about the asics brand, and it feels like a great running shoe that could have some durability and last a lot of mileage.

These are a big improvement over the 21’s. However they are ugly, I prefer plain black and they are sitting in the box while I decide whether I am going to return them. I wore them in the house for 5 minutes and Zappos said I could wear them for a month and return them as defective but I don’t want to rip them off. If I can’t deal with the way they look I am just going to return them new but they are a huge improvement over the 21’s.

Very comfortable shoe, both for running and walking. The heel cup is nice and snug. The cushion is plush, it takes time to break-in but very nice ride for those long runs. But it is not a reactive cushion, you will have to put extra effort if you need a faster pace. Ran couple of 21k and few shorter runs, I can say your legs will thank you, there was no sign of pain or fatigue on your legs. Really like it but I need more responsiveness (something similar to Adidas Boost or Nike React).

Just got the shoes yesterday. Very sturdy shoe without being too hard. Good support and good cushioning. Would like it to be just a little softer. The shoe has a great fit and is really comfortable when you put them on. Does not need much breaking in. I walk a lot and for the most part a great shoe.

Not as comfortable as I expected. They look better than the Nimbus 21s but are less comfortable, somehow. They fit fine and are true to size, but not a comfortable ride for the price. I returned these and went with the Novablast. No regrets going with the novablasts.

Bought these shoes for work, not running. They squeak on the concrete and don't cushion well.

I LOVE ASIC shoes! I have several pairs and they are all I buy for walking. That said, the Gel-Nimbus 22 was terrible. It was super narrow and didn't have the shock absorption I have grown to love. I returned these and ordered the Gel-Nimbus 24 and they are perfect.

Bought a few weeks ago and have not gotten a ton of use out of them as of yet. This is because I am trying to stretch them out so they fit like all my other Asics fit. I have a dozen pair of Asics that all fit perfect at 11.5, but for some reason they decided to make these really narrow. Beware of these if you have even slightly wide feet.

Comfortable, but when the shoes arrived, the paper toe-box stuffing was placed at time of packing to cause some creases to occur on the underside of the tongue. I need to flatten the tongue out each time I put the shoes on to work out the crease; otherwise the impacted shoe is a bit uncomfortable on top of my foot. I am sure the creases will get worked out, but just a little annoying. Once the tongue creases are flat, shoes are very comfortable.

I was wearing Roadrunner, and thought that the GEL-Nimbus 22 was a natural upgrade. I took the tags off and the first day that I wore them, I get a big blister on my heal. These shoes seem much more rigid, in the heal area. I wish that I could return, but the policy states that the tags need to be attached.

The toe box is more spacious in the Nimbus 22, but the cushion in the forefoot area seems flat feeling. The Nimbus 21 feels like there is much more cushioning in the forefoot that I prefer. If the nimbus 21 had a wider toe box, that would be the shoe of choice.

I have run in ASICS nimbus for close to 15 years. I have always been satisfied. With the last few models there have been adjustments that were more than I needed and it has caused me to look for others. The last two series I have had to size up a 1/2 more than before. That will work but just makes it harder to be confident in ordering. I am on my third pair of #22. If they become unavailable I am not sure how I will get another series that will fit correctly. Please quit changing the sizing.
