Overall this is a very good cushion show with forward motions similar to all other competitors brand. The heel is more bouncer than more previous model 15 and 12. The current version uses a lighter and softer material while I find the my older models to be heavier with a wider wheel than the #22. I see that ASICS really cut down on the weight of the shoe and the cosmetic materials as well. I hope it holds up like my model 15 & 12. After putting some miles on it, the heel soften up fast. Overall a very good shoe.

Wonderfully stable and comfy. The top of the shoe is very drafty for our cold Maine winters. I can wear thicker socks but then the shoe doesn't fit the same. Just my two cents.

This is my third pair of Nimbus and they are another great pair of running shoes. My only complaint is the toe box seems a little snug but it should be fine after a couple more miles.

I have been wearing Asics running shoes and soccer cleats for the past 30 years. The Nimbus 22 is not nearly as comfortable as the Nimbus 20, the Cumulus, or the Landreth from back in the day.

Comfortable shoes (bouncing at each step) and great design

Have worn Gel-Nimbus shoes since the Gel-Nimbus 7s. The 22s are very comfortable ibut could use a little more forefoot cushioning. Heel cushioning is still great. The toe box has been expanded from the 21s so toes now have plenty of room. Would definitely buy these again.

The soles make a squeaky noise when walking. (Not from the surface being walked on )

The shoes are well constructed. I have worn ASICS for years. I ran for many years and tried different brands and settled on ASICS as my shoe of choice. But as I get older it seems that I need a shoe with a bit wider toe box.

2nd pair of gel-nimbus. Ran the first pair to the ground. Same comfortable ride and support from heel to mid foot. Feels a bit narrower in the toe box but that could just be me as I get older.

Good shoe, great support, awesome design, but the 4E size was just too small for my wide feet. Not ASICS problem, but just be aware.

Rear heel cushioning is excellent and overall support and cushioning is great.

As good as ever and yet again Asics gets it right with this shoe.

I normally wear a size 12, but these are a little tight in the toe area. Other than that they're great. Really like the style!

Great shoes. Good support. Soft but supportive cushioning. I've been a long-time buyer of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS, and this was my first switch to Asics, and I've been happy with it. They are comparable sneakers, but sizing is different and these Asics are much more stylish. These Asics Gel Nimbus run more true-to-size than some other running shoes. I've often worn 1/2 size bigger than usual for running shoes, but for these, I think I could've done my usual size instead of the 1/2 size up. Nonetheless, I've kept the shoes and been very pleased with them so far. Love this color combination and hope that Asics works to provide more interesting options like this in future models, instead of the same old running sneaker colors. I wish that the colors offered in the knit version of this sneaker were also offered in the mesh version that I bought. If they were, I'd likely buy another pair! Price is getting up there though... (c'mon, Asics!)

Loved the look of this shoe, was excited that it was offered in the 4E, and I have had great success with Asics in the past, but this pair came up short....for me. I am on my feet for 16 hours straight each day and the comfort wasn't there. Though that doesn't mean that it isn't a great running shoe for someone else. The technology and craftsmanship remain un parallel.

Shoes are very good to wear. Its gel product handles its nee very well and whenever we walk, it seems that we are applying. This is a very good shoe

I've bought the Nimbus almost every year for the last 10 years or so. I have flat feet and finding the right running shoes for me was a pain. Every time I try on another type of shoe, I don't love it. I will continue to buy this specific shoe when I need to get new ones. They also have a lot of styles available. Overall, really good shoe for me.
