I've fallen in love with my new long run shoe after just 5 miles. There is no need to wear in the Nimbus 22's. After pulling them on I was able to comfortably head out for 8km with the running buggy and my son. Loved the shoes, the cushioning is great but they don't look or feel chunky of heavy the comfort is bang on and they come up perfectly to size.

Was looking for a comfortable distance shoe for my low intensity training runs,recommended by asics front runner DannyOReilly, More than happy with my purchase look after my feet and plenty toe room.Thank you.

This upgraded version of NUMBUS is the most cushioned shoe I have ever ran with. It fits so well, that I have the feeling my feet are just locked and ready for running further and further. NIMBUS22 feels much more lightened than version 21. I still can not believe it has weight of 315 grams. Also those colours are amazing. Once again - great cushioning and stability. Really looking forward my first half and full marathons with NIMBUS 22.

I am pretty sure that I never have been moving around in a more comfortable shoe, ever, like forever ever. This new construction of complete FlyteFoam propel at the bottom, with FF moved up on top (back half) is really getting it right! Thanks asics! This is truly a Gel Nimbus that follow the "how to be a Nimbus" guidelines.

Similar to another review, this is the best version of the Nimbus since the Nimbus17. I was just about to give up on Asics after exclusively running in the Nimbus for the past 7 years so am very happy with the fit (4E extra wide) & comfort compared to the last few versions of this model shoe. I run 30-35 miles a week and this shoe is fantastic for my wide feet. Thank you Asics. If you were a fan of the Nimbus17 then you should be pleased with this shoe.

Cery comfortable, soft shoe. Perfect for Kinga runs. With its w body Wright three ja a noticeable softness that was lacking in the previous installment.

I have plantar fasciitis and I'd almost given up running. I now run 5k twice a week in these shoes and my plantar fasciitis has actually gotten better.

I have run I Nimbus 21 during the year and this is a very nice upgrade. Buy!

I can say with certainty that Gel Nimbus 22 is the most comfortable long distance running shoe that Asics has been doing since Gel Nimbus 16 and 17. I am grateful to Asics designers for the wonderful work done on wearability, stability and cushioning of this shoe. In this model almost all the errors made in the models following the Nimbus 16 and 17 have been corrected. We can say that it was a good and welcome return to the past. The shoe has returned to being very soft and cushioned, stable with support for the arch of the foot and stability, the upper part has finally been narrowed and now fits much better. The materials are all of the latest generation, very soft and the quality is very high. I highly recommend it to all those who want to undertake daily training with races or walk long distances!

This is the best comfortable running shoe I ever had. First day, I made 17km in this shoe without any discomfort. Second day I made 20km with faster last km and was really good too.

Id you used to love the nimbus and the last few version were a let down, its back. The last version I loved was the 17. I feel at home again.

Overall great shoe and as good as 23 except I think the foam is less durable on the 22.

Look great, fit well, but the comfort is okay. Otherwise I would give it a 5 star.

Better than the GEL-KAYANO 27 (2E), but same problem. ~ 250mls, than they were worn out.

Depending on your running, the back outer heel rubber soles can wear out quickly. I've logged in 70 miles on the shoe so far. But think I will probably have to replace it after another 70 miles due to the sole at the heel will be totally worn to the cushion by then.

The shoe feels a little different than the Gel-Nimbus 21. The arch support is more rigid. However, the comfort and cushion is exactly what you'd expect from the Gel-Nimbus series. Lastly this shoe runs wider as expected from Asics. For me there was no reason to purchase the shoe in wide. As a matter of fact, since using the Gel-Nimbus series I know longer order my shoes in wide.

These are the second pair i buy. They have a nice but tight fit and good breathability. The sole is durable and only the top over the toes material started disintegrating a bit almost after a year and many km. Overall highly recommended.

It's a solid shoe - offers good support and cushioning. I am used to the air nimbus and feel the gel absorbs shock better. I guess the style is kind of plain so that is why I'm more of a 4 star than 5 star.

Tried a few pairs on and was looking for something for longer runs. These are really comfortable so far. Always get a size bigger with running trainers. Slightly narrow if anything - and certainly not the lightest, but good support and comfort.

Very satisfied with the comfort of the shoe, but wish the shoe was slightly wider. My 5th pair of the Nimbus style, second pair of 22's. Have one major concern, on the fist two pairs, a hole developed just above the area of my big toe on the left shoe. On the third pair I placed an adhesive foam pad inside shoe were the hole developed on the fist two pairs of shoes. Solved the problem. Would be nice if ASICS would install a toe shield across the toe box on inside of their shoes to prevent this type of damage from occurring! If not a manufacturing change, ASICS could offer an adhesive toe shield that would come standard with a purchased pair of shoes that buyer had the option to install in their shoes.
