This coat runs extremely small. I own an older version of the same jacket in an XXL and this one was consistently two inches narrower throughout, in a 3XL. North Face sizing is crazy inconsistent, as in other styles, an XL fits comfortably, whereas this 3XL couldn't even zip.

I used this item for every time it rained and it did not do it's job.

I am very disappointed in this jacket. My friends and family members have the original Venture Jacket, which I love. I figured the Venture 2 would be fairly similar, but this jacket is completely different. This jacket is twice as short as typical North Face jackets. The longer length of North Face jackets is what I love about them, but sadly this jacket does not have that length. The arms are too long, so if I were to order up a size for a longer length, it would not fit in the arm length or the width. The jacket itself is very stiff, and the material is not that of a typical rain jacket. It is too thin and light-weight, especially compared to the original Venture Jacket. The collar is designed and structured to lay flat/open on the chest, rather than straight up like most jackets. This jacket is more of a light-weight, structured, "for looks" jacket rather than a functional, moveable, and durable rain jacket.

It holds up to light rain ok but not in real heavy rain. I have worn mine on several rainy days and come back indoors soaked. After a handful of uses the lining on the inside starts to peel off and then you have little white things that shed all over your clothes. I'm really sorry I paid so much money for this mediocre "waterproof" jacket.

The jacket was not what i expected 3 of us ordered the jacket same day same jacket all 3 were different. Did not like mine at all sent it back with the return slip to find out it takes 3.5 weeks for it to arrive at returns and then a few more days for refund.

I love TNF Venture Jackets and ordered this TNF Venture 2 in White, wanting to add something different to my dependable collection. Assuming that "NEW" meant "even better" proved horribly wrong. The jacket in white is practically transparent and is so thin that it showed my coloured t-shirt underneath. I was terribly disappointed and returned it. Save yourself the costly return postage...

I have only used my jacket a handful of times & i've had it for less than a month, yet the metal piece on the jacket broke off!!! There is nothing I can do about this because of the north face's policy, which they should fix given that their products are already expensive.

Bought this jacket 6 months ago have only worn it in the rain 3 times tops since I live in California, have washed it maybe once. Wore it with the storms this week and was soaked underneath and the inside of the jacket was wet as well every time I wore it. Very disappointed.

I typically wear the same size in all of my north face jackets so I selected XL. It seemed like a 2X and was very uncomfortable. It was lightweight like I wanted but wasn't what I was expecting.

It's would be a good jacket if you get a smallef size of what you usually wear.

The lining of my jacket is pealing off. The white layer is shedding everywhere. It is wear the shoulders and neck are, and without the lining, while it isn't waterproof anymore. What a shame. I definitely won't buy it again.

I purchased this jacket last year. I recently started hiking so I use it often. The major issue I have is the inside pockets have a side slit/opening in them. I place my car keys in the pocket unaware of the opening and lost them on a 5-mile hike at night!!! Fortunately someone found them on the path the next day but I had to pay $100 for a new set of keys. What is the function of the side slits?

I bought 2 of these jackets, one for my daughter and one for myself. Unfortunately neither one of us were able to wear it. Too small. Sleeves too long
Loved the color the quality and style

An expensive product with a "lifetime" warranty. Mine is 8 years old and not had a lot of use. The lining has completely deteriorated, rendering the jacket totally unusable. Having gone through the correct channels for warranty, I am now told that "lifetime = 2 years". Very deceptive advertising, especially at this price point (in Australia we have to pay over $200 AUD). Most of the items in my wardrobe are over two years old and still going strong. My favourite softshell jacket is over 10 years old and looks as good as new (cleary not from The North Face). VERY disappointing with "The North Face" and their "Lifetime" warranty.

I would recommend this if you want a very loud and obnoxious jacket. I was very excited to revive this jacket but beyond disappointed once I tried it on it is the loudest jacket ever. It very long and large at the bottom the sleeves just are way to long. I do however like the color very true to the picture.

Feels like an inside out raincoat. Not comfortable, and runs really small

I purchased this jacket from the website. I looked at the jacket in all available angels and in none of those did I see how paper thin this jacket was. I was relying on the Internet to provide me with a clear and concise description. I returned all the jackets immediately. ......Disappointed

I ordered it to wear as my new rain jacket but it's too small.

this needs to be made in larger sizes. The 3x was a small fit. I used the size finder and it said to order a XL.

Returned it to a North Face store where I could try on a smaller size. Although I had used the size guide to determine right size, I clearly needed the extra small. The guide did not ask about frame size, which made a difference given I have narrow shoulders.

I initially loved this jacket. It's the perfect weight for spring, fall and even winter in North Carolina. However, after a year of wear the interior lining has disintegrated. It is so bad, that I can't even wear it because peices of the lining shed onto my clothes.

Bummed that the product was so thin. I think I can tear it if I tried.

I thought I was getting a casual, lightweight jacket that would still keep me semi warm. I read tons of reviews on this and they were all awesome! That's why I got it. Not sure what everyone else was thinuking when they ordered this, but it was as thin as a trash bag and sounded like one too. This should.be advertised as a WIND BREAKER because that's literally what it is. Maybe good for hiking in the spring, but definitely not meant for anything else.
