The shoe is cloth fabric. For crawlers this is not the right shoe. The toes scuff up and dirty up fairly easily.

I bought these for my 5yr old granddaughter, who needed shoes for her kindergarten P.E. class. All of her tennis shoes are the slip on type. And not really practical for running and exercise. She absolutely loves them, says they make her run faster;). I searched high and low for a reasonably priced shoe that came in a toddler 9.5. They also match her school uniform pretty well. I couldn't be happier.

Me and my daughter are Van's addicts. This pair is for my newborn grandson. Will be his first pair of Van's when his foot gets bigger. Gotta carry on the tradition and be that 3rd generation wearing this fun, cool brand! They look great and will be nice to wear with pretty much any little boy outfit. Love those gum soles.

These shoes fit my toddler great! She's between a size 4 and 5 and I was having trouble finding half sizes. Not to mention they are adorable! She walks/runs really well in these.

I like vans and these are so cute, they did not run big as some comments said, so my little one will have to grow into them

My wife made the mistake of letting him try them on for size. They are for the new school year. He does not want to wear any other shoes now and will not take them off.

My son has worn 'hand me down' Vans so I decided to get him 2 new pair for the start of school. We loved the colors available and the fit is perfect. I would say the Velcro are a little short so kids with wide feet may take this into consideration. We will buy more Vans for our son and for ourselves, as we've had great experiences with the adult options as well!

As quickly as our two-year-old daughter's feet grow, we've purchased several new pairs of Vans for her. She absolutely loves this pair. She's always showing them off to people.
