I love this shoe! It feels roomier in the toe box than my old Calderas, but perfectly snug around my midfoot and heel so that I feel secure on the trails.

The 1st run took some getting used to. But during the 2nd run I could almost feel them mold to my feet. I don't do a ton of elevation changes but I am running or walking at least 8 miles a day. They keep getting more and more comfortable all the while keeping me stable on the trail.

These shoes are everything a trail shoe should be! Light, but super stable with great traction and a responsive feel. They have all the pros of a great neutral road shoe but go that extra mile to make gravel, roots, mud and general trail ugliness feel totally doable. I'm confident they can get me through the worst while still being light and speedy. They are comfortable straight out of the box, and look great too!

I've always purchased the ghost. This is my first time buying the caldera, and I love them!!!

These shoes are sooo comfortable. They provide cushion and support while feeling lightweight. Not sure I can go back to any other type of shoe after this one

so far I'm loving these shoes. I'm actually not a runner but I walk trails, so moe a hiker. These shoes feel like they are propelling me to take the net step

The Caldera 4 checks the boxes for my personal trail running shoe needs: room in the toebox for slightly wide forefoot; slender heel so as not to slip out of the shoe; cloud-like cushion without feeling like I'm going to "fall off" of a super high platform; a bit of arch support; and traction (although I haven't tried on wet rocks/trails yet).

These shoes are the most comfortable Brooks I've owned yet! My feel feel cushioned yet very stable. I plan on buying a second pair right away so I can alternate them. Brooks has outstanding customer service as well to ensure you get the right fit.

I absolutely love these shoes! I have a relatively narrow foot and these hold nice and snug around the arch and ankle (no slipping) while still leaving room for my toes to wiggle and flatten out so I feel stable. These have been great for my usual run route that is a combination of gravel, sand, grass, and some old broken up concrete and I don't notice any negative impact transitioning from one terrain to another. Since starting to run in these shoes, foot, ankle, knee, and hip pain is at a minimum and I find it easier to go on longer runs without noticing fatigue in those areas. Please keep these around, as they are my new go-to!

I can't believe how much these shoes are doing to relieve my chronic lower-back pain. I walk 2+ miles daily, and, with my Calderas, my back is noticeably less sore after my morning exercise than it is before. Whatever you've put in the soles is just what I need. The thickness of the sole, the low drop, and the firm heel support give me a great "ride." The soles' super-grippy bottom encourages me to be intentional about lifting my feet as I step, a reminder I need. The Calderas seem a bit shorter than other Brooks I've worn, but not enough to need a larger size. One comment: the shoelaces are too long (I don't use the extra holes) even with double knotting, and feel a little insubstantial. Otherwise, the shoes are perfect. Thank you!

Love these trail shoes! Very comfortable and holding up well against roots and moisture while I improve my disc golf skills.

Excellent!! Superb comfort and stability! Finally a shoe that is exactly what I need! Although it may be geared more towards running, I wear it for long distance walking and have never had such a comfortable sneaker ever! I give it a perfect 10!

Love the shoe. Super comfy and love the color. Great on trails. I run ~ 16 miles per week.

True to size. Comfortable right out of the box. Lightweight. I 've worn on the beach boardwalk and walking on blacktop as well as trail and all scenarios they are still great. Lots of toe room. Great cushion and arch support like all of my other Brooks.

It is always hard for me to find a good fitting shoes as well as sneakers. Brooks was recommended by my daughter who owns 2 pairs of Brooks already. The toe box are very roomy but not too wide, the cushion at the bottom are supportive enough for my weak knees and the traction of the sole is the best to walk around hilly areas. If only you can provide those elastic shoe strings then this pair will be perfect for me.

I use for walking and I am pleased with the shoe. It has a hard toe surface so need to make sure you get right size. I think it is pretty true to size but if you want to wear thick sock you might want next half size up.

Worn them on a few runs outside on gravel, and currently very pleased with them. Ran with them once on the treadmill and didn't like them as much fro that.

This is my first pair of Brooks and am super happy with them. I was skeptical, since the Cascadia doesn't work for me. I have been searching for a shoe that has a wider toe box, accommodates a high arch, and also provides enough cushion. I've found it! The upper is very comfortable and form-fitting, with a great "lacekeeper" strap on top. The mid foot is nice and fitted, which is often a problem when the forefoot is wider. The soles have held up extremely well on rough terrain (I've struggled with the HOKA Challengers in this regard). This higher-cushion shoe performs amazingly well on rocky/rough trail and off trail (I just used them in the Speedgoat 50k, and I have no complaints). I even like the colors : )

I love each caldera that comes out. One thing I would love to see is a place to tuck in laces, because I don't tie my shoes. Overall really great, comfort, and excellent color.

Haven't loved a shoe like this in years. Great fit with ample cushion and superb tread. Feels great on pavement and he trail as well. Please don't change it.

Back to Brooks after about a 4-year hiatus. Love this shoe. Low heel- toe drop, roomy toe box and narrow heel. This is my perfect shoe.
