I really love these. They have a lot of cushion and aren't super flexible, which is what I need with my foot problems and hikes on rocky trails. I've worn through the soles on two pairs. Please keep making these Brooks!

Very comfortable shoe. The spring is nice on hard rocky trails. I especially love the wider toe box.

Super comfortable - right out of the box. Surprisingly lightweight even though the sole is thick.

Most comfortable gym shoes I've ever purchased. I work on my feet all day and with these books I am comfortable all day and night. Love them.

The best trail shoe. Feels like walking on clouds. I usually wear a neutral shoe for road running, but switched to these for a few trail runs, and I hiked a 14er in Colorado in them. They aren't kidding when they say "channel your inner mountain goat" in the review. The traction is incredible.

This is my first pair of trail shoes and I am enjoying these. They were easy to transition for my first trail run. The toebox is roomy and I have no complaints.

I love these shoes!!!! They are a cross between an Ultra and Hoka. Nice wide toe box like a Ultra, the sole has cush like a Hoka but responsive and not quit as much sole height. The mid foot is narrow enough and adjustable so feet do not move in wide toe box. The fit, style and toe box is very different different than the Caldera 3. Caldera 3 did not fit my feet well. Nice ride!!! I hope they keep this shoe in the line up!!

These are probably the best running shoes I've ever owned. They're comfortable and I probably sound like a little kid when I say this, but...they're fast. They're not only light weight but provide a ton of support. I've put about 50 miles on them so far and they've felt great since the first time I put them on. I ran a half marathon in them last week and they didn't disappoint. Very happy with these shoes, I'll likely continue to buy this model.

I absolutely LOVE this shoe. I wear them all the time. The grip is phenomenal and the cushion is great. I wear this on loose gravel, smooth trails, and technical trails. They are super cushiony and really light for how cushioned they are. The only thing that was a little tricky was getting used to being so high up b/c of the cushion. It's just something to get used to but they are so plush it is worth it. They are also true to size.

We're very happy together, this shoe and I. It provides a remarkable amount of support while running down technical terrain without feeling heavy when the trail opens up to something flat. It handles well on rock surfaces, gravel, roots, anything I've thrown at it so far. As a warning, if you have ankles prone to twisting, you may want to try this out yourself first - mine seem to hold up OK but I've definitely had some awkward moves on roots and these shoes aren't necessarily going to support you.

Fit is true to size, shoe is just as comfortable as my Clycerin road running shoes but they do a GREAT job of minimizing uneven surfaces such as gravel and rocks. Would highly recommend this shoe.

I have been using regular sneakers for trail running since I recently moved to an area with a great trail nearby. Little did I know the difference trail sneakers make vs regular sneakers. Game changing! These are comfortable on pavement as well - I run .5 mile on the road to my trail and they are comfortable the entire time.

Switched from Hokas which kept prematurely falling apart. These are great and I love that they're local!

These shoes are awesome! They are very comfortable, very lightweight, yet help me keep my grip and balance when running on uneven trails, over rocks and sticks, and up and down hills. On muddy days, they do collect dirt in the tread, but not nearly as much as my previous shoes, which were not designed for use on trails. The fit is true to my normal running shoe size. I like that I have lots of room for my toes and they don't feel squished.

Takes a few runs to break in, but after that a very comfortable and cushy ride. Have run 6+ miles in them, excited to take them on a long run where I think the cushion will really feel good.

I LOVE THESE SHOES WITH ALL MY HEART. They are PERFECT!! So comfortable with great support. I'm an 8 Wide - have minor bunions on my feet and I ordered an 8 Wide and they feel wonderful. HIGHLY recommend!

Very comfortable! I feel like a springbok and they make me want run and jump natural hurdles along the trail. Good traction and cushion. I've noticed a reduction in hip pain as well.

I had the original Caldera trail runner and loved them, so took a chance on buying the Caldera 4 online. I am so glad I did! They are super comfortable and provide plenty of grip and support when hiking and trail running. I have a very hard time finding comfortable running shoes due to bunions, but these are fantastic. The Caldera is my go-to for trail runners! On a side note, the Glycerin is also amazingly comfortable for road running.

Great shoe. I wear them showing in agility on astro turf. I do not slide on the surface. They fit well and come in great colors. I have 2 pair in different colors so I can coordinate with my outfits. Fellow competitors have commented about my shoes. There is no break-in time required. I received my last pair on a Thursday and wore them on Friday all day at a trial and had no issues. They offer great support.

The toe box is very comfortable and the light weight makes them a winner for me. They are trail runners and feel neutral, supportive, not a big arch. I use them to hike trails in the desert and mountains. I wear Brooks Levitates for walking and have a kick-around pair of Brooks Revels. I wear an 8 M in a sandal, an 8.5 M in a flat, but I always wear a size 9M in Brooks athletic shoes.
