Love Brooks running shoes. I am a 61 yr old, recreation runner. I run between 7-12 miles per week. I usually buy the Ghost running shoes but I decided to try Ricochet 2. Very light weight shoe. Fits true to size. Glove type fit, but comfortable. During sprints or moderate pace run, shoes feel good. Ran 7 mile road course, legs were strong and my stride was good. Each step pushed off and landed with support and strength. So far I have over 25 miles on the Ricochet 2 and I am very satisfied. Excellent shoe, Brooks. Still a Ghost shoe fan too.

I've been using this shoe as my go to race shoe for a couple months now. They're pretty amazing. I mainly run 5K and 10K races. I do my training in Brooks Ghost shoes. My training runs are usually at 8 minutes a mile then I lace up the Ricochet 2s and race around 7 minutes a mile. I'm new to running and not sure how much of the difference is psychological or the shoes? I started running in August 2019 and so far this is where the shoes have taken me. I also went from 220 lbs in August to 154 lbs now in February 2020.

If I believed in a perfect product, then I'd give it 5 stars, but I feel there's always room for improvement. I really didn't think you could improve on the Ricochet, and yet you did in all aspects. I love how much lighter it is, and the new material feels more like a sock instead of a shoe on my foot. It's much more comfortable in all aspects. About my only complaint would be that I tend to re-use my running shoes as my every day shoes. But the material these are made of make them something i can't easily slip on/off without having to touch them and re-do the laces. But that's not really a knock on the shoe as a running shoe.

These are the best shoes that I've owned to this point. Very comfortable and no blisters or foot or leg pain at all. I love them!

I'm recovering from surgery so I have not ran in the shoes yet. Walking in the shoes, I can tell the energy transfer claim is correct. You do feel slightly energized through your gait. The shoe is comfortable, stylish, and fits true to size.

A very functional running shoe that actually works well in "slip on" mode. Great for casual wearing too. I've received several compli,ments.

I have only put a few miles on them, but they are very comfortable and responsive.

I always love a shoe that I don't realize is on my foot. Smooth ride straight out of the box. Lighter than the Levitates, which works great for me. Feels quicker off the ground. Upper is thin, but not an issue. Just have to be careful not to tie your laces too tight. Overall, zero complaints.

Soft feel with great response. The new tongue felt a little different at first, but I like the way it fits.

Very happy with use and response during runs past month in half . Have produced better times snd distance.

The new integrated knit tongue was interesting at first but I like it a lot. It conforms well with my foot all around. I was used to them already with my soccer cleats. I didn't like it initially on those shoes so don't give up on these if it is new to you. These are great shoes that feel light and cushion well. I had the last version of these shoes and I feel like this new ricochet is a solid upgrade.

I love the ride and fit on this version of Ricochet 2. They are light enough to use it for tempo runs and workouts.

My new go to, last pair was Nike epic react and the Brooks Ricochet gives me the cushioning and springy energy return that I like. The design is attractive as well.

Overall I am very happy with this shoe. I tried this as a shorter distance option to the Ghost. I use it for daily training work. I am happy with the design and feel of the shoe. It has slightly less cushion than the ghost, but feels good on 5K's. The knit collar took a little bit to get used to, but I am used to it from soccer cleats with similar designs.

Great shoe, great for, awesome feel. I'm a mid distance runner and it works well for speed as well as longer runs.
