Nice shoe..very light and "slipper like". The only disappointment was I ordered them thinking they were constructed like last year's design. They were a heavier material which I wanted for work, but that's my fault.

Very Comfortable , only a 4 because I have only worn them 2 times , Today I took my stress test in them. They did very well.

I like these shoes a lot. They have the perfect stiffness and bounce. They even work for a gym shoe to lift in. The white, black, and yellow look super cool. The sock fit at the top is a little weird and doesn't work perfectly with socks. That's literally the only thing I would improve. Soles are great. Really nice.

I would have given them a 5, but it is sometimes rubbing my heel.

Really solid shoe! Very reliable with cross training as well. However, it does tend to cut into the achilles area/skin when high ankle socks aren't worn.

I was beginning to wonder if I ever would find a walking/running shoe that fit my feet - wide forefoot and narrow heel. These are excellent! And so lightweight! The only thing that I find strange about the shoes is the elastic fabric for the top of the shoe rather than a tongue. While overall this makes the shoe very comfortable, it makes the shoe a little awkward to put on, and I do wonder how durable the fabric is. But I have have been wearing them for about 1 month and find them very comfortable.

I’m a Brooks fan; but this “sock” style shoe just gets dirty real fast and does wear blisters on the back of your heel without socks the first few times they are worn.

The Ricochet 2s met my expectations based on the description. The sock fit is good and comfortable. If anything, however, I feel like these shoes don't breathe and my feet feel quite atypically hot and sweaty early into a run. I don't have unusually sweaty feet, and this is not something I've experienced with any other Brooks shoes.

Overall, the Brooks Ricochet 2 comes in as a satisfying speed shoe for daily training work. I can say I was very happy with the design, the technology and the look of this shoe. I highly recommend it for any of you who enjoy a neutral, speedy daily trainer and don't need any extra support or cushion. I was very unsatisfied with the lockdown and the security of fit but with a little innovation of lacing you can solve the problem.

Decent everyday shoe for lower mileage training. Used these for nothing other than my weekly long run, thinking the lighter weight and combination of cushioning technologies would be a good formula. The cushioning feels fairly hard, but is responsive. The upper is light, secure and breathable; probably the highlight of the shoe. Won't buy another pair; better off with just another pair of Ghosts or Levitates.

Really comfortable like all Brooks running shoes but the elastic tongueless design is annoying, if I'd paid more attention when I was buying and noticed that I'd have gotten a more traditional style running shoes.

I've had four pairs of Brooks before but switched to a different brand for less drop. I had high hopes for these Brooks being that they're low drop, but I'm giving up on them after 75 miles. They're too snug - I had to remove the lacing from the top eyelet completely to get it where it didn't feel constricting. They also seem a bit more narrow than other shoes of the same size - I was hoping they would break in a bit and widen up but my feet still feel a little numb after running. Should have ordered a half size up like they suggested but I've never had to do that before.

They are narrower than other Brooks shoes I have gotten of the same width. Very comfortable when walking around, but hurt my feet when running. Planning on exchanging.

I hate the ankle on these. I can not use them for running because they tear my ankle to pieces. I've had to use them for weight training only.

Rubbed heel raw during first run. It was so bad that the heel of the shoe was cover in blood.

This shoe has to be put on like pulling on a very tight sock, there is no tongue. If you can get it on, it squeezes the arch area to the point of pain. Worst feeling shoe ever!

I'm sorry to say these were horrible. I wasn't sure which shoe to pick because of be never known what's best for me. Even though I have been running for years. I always stick with what I've used. But once the manufacturer that unused stopped carrying them. I went with Brook's. Big mistake. These shoes have caused me nothing but pain and suffering. Never have I ever had problems with my Achilles or ankles. The moment I put these put these on gave me nothing but grief. At first I thought I just had to break the shoe in. But it's been two weeks already. And I am still not adjusted. I gave up on these shoes. I went back to my old ones. Even though they are so worn out. I'd rather use them instead of dealing with the pain that I have been enduring. Sad thing about it is that I took the assessment that brooks provides to people who don't know what their needs are. Big mistake. They recommended a shoe that completely set me back. I run over 20 miles a week. But these shoes made me feel like I ran over 50 miles a week. They are horrible. Sad thing is that this is my first experience with brooks. My shoes are now paperweights. They are jut worth sending back. It's not worth the hassle. I will just use them around the house now. Thanks for nothing brooks. Last time I will ever buy a shoe blindly online.

I have not been so disappointed in a Brooks shoe in all my life. After wearing them for 4 runs (about 25 miles) I developed tenderness in both my Achilles. I realized that there is little flexibility in the fore foot of the shoe. It bends at the arch. Also, I found that on my runs it feels like my foot is slapping the ground. I would not recommend this shoe to any runners. Maybe it will make a decent walking shoe.

Loved the Ricochet 1 but hate the new version. The new upper is terrible and I hate the "sock like fit".

Put a pair of cotton gloves on your hands and then put a pair of surgical gloves over the top of that and you'll understand why you're no tongue shoe was not such a hot idea
