Been running in Brooks for over 10 years. This is the first pair of Brooks that I had to return. They made my heels bleed.

There’s a weird piece sticking up on the top of the heel. It rubbed my Achilles to much to even wear around the house - practically an instant blister. A weird design

I have had at least 4 pairs of levitate 2. Very disappointed with levitate 3. I had major blisters on both heels. Terrible!

Poor SupportGreat Support
I have worn Brooks Levitate shoes for the past three years. While they tend to wear out pretty quickly--I have to replace them every three to six months from daily use--they are comfortable and supportive for my extra wide foot and high arch. Unfortunately, Brooks has changed the last or the overall design for the Levitate 3. They are shorter, narrower and smaller. I'm so disappointed. These are going back.

Look great. I work in healthcare and am on my feet all day. I bought a pair of levitate 2 and they were the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The levitate 3 are not nearly as comfortable. Heel hurts a lot at the end of my shift. Not impressed

I regret purchasing Levitate 3. I've had it for a few months and wore it every day to break it in. No luck. The shoes are is still very stiff, especially the back of the ankles. I have blisters all over the back of my ankles. I will never wear these shoes again not will I ever purchase another Levitate 3. Levitate 3 is definitely not for me. I do love my Ghost 12 and I'll stick to that instead.

I don't like it. The material around the ankle is too stiff and has a sharp edge to it. I have used the Levitate for years, and always liked it. I ran in the new Levitate twice, and then had to take a week off due to blisters on my Achilles heel, which has never happened before.

I've had several pairs of Brooks; this was my first pair of Levitates. The shoes fit well and were comfortable, EXCEPT - After my first 5 mi run, my ankles were sore where the tops of the shoes rubbed. My second run (a few days later) I wore short ankle socks. The shoes have a hard/rough seam at the top of the back; this ended up cutting into my ankles (both of them) until they bled. Sent the shoes back. The back of the shoe really needs to be redesigned.

Top of heel rubbed Achilles' tendon and the material lining the heel didn't seem as nice as the Levitate 2. I sent these back and bought another pair of the levitate 2.

Poor SupportGreat Support
These shoes are so odd by Brooks, not sure what Brooks was thinking with this pair. They would be great for packing away into a luggage airplane trip bag, as they are light light weight but they fold in half so easy at the mid toe box, they have no forefoot control or support. These shoes are a great looking; huge miss. Also... there is a direct correlation between the size of my feet at a 15 and the size of my finger, so if your going to put a very helpful heal pull tab, make sure a person with a size 15 shoe can use his also size 15 finger to use the pull tab! Huge miss of a shoe...

The one star only applies to the shoe and my foot. Purchased a pair of levitate twos a few weeks ago. I love them. Very comfortable. Great support and cushioning. So I order a pair of levitate threes and they do not fit at all. Problem is the threes only have a half tongue stitched tight across the arch and the twos are a full tongue so adjustable. My arch is so high that I could barely get them on and they would never be comfy. I plan to return them tomorrow and call brooks to recommend a different shoe. I hope to find something with their help. Have been a Nike runner for years but find myself less and less satisfied with them so I hope we can get this worked out.

Was running in glycerine 16's for the past year and were amazing. No shin splints no pain. Switched to these and have my right foot going numb, blistered so bad on my heels it bled all over the heel of the shoe.

These shoes are very narrow. If you have even an average width foot, you should by the wide just to be sure of a normal fit

Multiple issues with the design of the shoe. Firstly the inner padding is so bulky that it feels like compression socks with someone squeezing the upper part of the shoe. Secondly the back/heel part of the shoe is so badly designed and stiff (even after available padding) it feels like you are rubbing your achilles ankle against a concrete surface. That takes all the fun out of running, I had to stop running and change my shoe. Even though I so badly wanted to over the mediocre reviews it has got, I decided to purchase the shoe. Within an hour of running the feedback from the pain/scratching was so bad, I was totally disappointed by the design. I really question the people who ran and tested the shoe! given other parts of shoe build is so great! I will think twice before opting for this shoe!

I so much wanted to like this shoe over the bad reviews it had. So I decided purchasing it for thanksgiving for myself. I was all excited to run on this. But the wear created so much pain on the achilles ankle with 1 hour of usage made me left with no choice but to return the product. I will never return to this product until the issue is fixed. There is no other bad point in the shoe in terms of quality, build. I also didn't like the concept of artificial tongue. It would be nice if company makes a free (no cushion) tongue or just don't give the option. the padding on the back of the heal and underneath the tongue just bulks the shoe and sucks bug time,
